Took her class 13 years ago and noticed she is no longer working at FAU. This is a GOOD thing! Overly difficult, unfair in grading practices, gave final projects that you got little guidance. Bragged about being a "co-author" of the textbook. I earned a D but since I took it as an elective, it did not affect my graduation. Be glad she's gone!

GREAT TEACHER, in class you makes you laugh and uses spectacular analogies, keeps you up for 3 hours, trust me if she kept me up, she can keep anybody up. But she is a no B.S. person in that if she says something is due, that is when it is due. She will make you learn though if you just listen, she actually involves the class in the discussion.

Nice teacher. Classes are given over the internet with 3 in class meetings. A lot of busy work given through out the semester not hard just time consuming. The class average on the 2 tests (mid.+final) given was of a C avg. Is never flexible on curving tests or helping you raise your grade. Recomend u taking Dr. Powell for this class.

This professor is the best professor that FAU has. She is smart, makes you work for your grade but having been gone from FAU for several years, now teaching, She is the only prof which I quote and use the info she taught us. FAU should get rid of most of their profs in education and start over using Willem as their guide to excellence.

Dr. Willems makes this class very interesting. All of her notes come from powerpoint, but she goes over them in depth in her lecture. All the tests are senario based and pretty tough. If you study and pay attention in class you will do well.

I really enjoyed the class. I took this class at night for 3 hours and she kept my interest the whole time. I am not going to say it was easy but, it just required some effort. She is an awesome teacher. She makes you want to learn!

Take this class in person, not online. Dr. Willems is a very kind person and a really entertaining teacher, but it doesn't transfer to the online format. If you take it online she will gladly see you during office hours and clear up your questions. The class meeting days are great.

The catalog said 25% WEB assisted, but it really was an online class. No lecture notes provided, just a POWERPOINT for each section, but without the lecture they weren't very informative. If you need help she wants you to come to her office hours Answers online to questions were rather terse. No individual feedback on discussion questions. Hard

she's a great teacher. i think its pretty much the same online but if you're the type that needs in depth explaination you need to take it in person. her tests are senarios based on her notes (given from powerpoint) and if its not on her notes its FAIR GAME from the book. so study hard... continue..

This is a very hard class. I do not recommend taking it online. Dr. Willems is a great teacher, and that greatness somehow got lost in cyberspace. Take it in person if you take it with Willems.
