Professor Ahearn is a man wholly dedicated to his craft but understanding of those who may not be. Taking his class was an absolute treat compared to my other classes. It always made my day better. As long as you make a sincere attempt at making a puppet, you will pass. He is extremely caring and will give you valuable advice. Overall great class.

A great choice if you are required to take an art class. Professor Ahearn genuinely cares about his students as much as he cares about puppets. If you show up to class and put effort into your puppets (you can make whatever kind you want), you'll do just fine.

Very enthusiastic about puppetry. Knows a lot and can teach you a lot if you are truly interested. And if you're not, it's ok because he understands and will help make the class better for you. Students are allowed to talk to each other in class, no lectures.

best profs ever. Very flexible and will mold the class around whatever you want to make. The atmoshere of the class is extremely warm and friendly. He will make anyone excited about Puppetry, but remember like most art classes you will only get out of it what you put in. TAKE THIS CLASS!

Awesome class, great prof. Suggest taking the class with friends because talking and hanging out are encouraged. Had a lot of fun in this class, puppets didn't have to be good as long as you went to class and made the effort!

Very good teacher and fun class. Puppets ranged from very easy shadow puppets to the muppet like mouth puppet. The final exam was a play that each student does in a group, very entertaining.
