Comment:

Had him for Living Theatre. HORRIBLE! He expects you to know about theatre before taking the class. The class itself is boring. He made theatre arduous and boring, and I usually adore theatre classes. He picks a couple of students to harp on all semester regardless of work ethic and grades. Hope you aren't one of them. Avoid him if you can.

Terrible teacher. Expected Intro students to know everything about theater and assigned a ridiculous amount of papers which counted highly towards your grade. Grading scale doesn't make any sense -so an A paper would turn into a D (even if marked as Excellent). Extreamly unclear. Avoid.

Bart is an awful teacher. He is extremely lazy, which would be alright if he didn't expect anything of the students. But he does. So to recap. Last semester in his class, I did nothing and so did he. Except, I got a C in the class (my only one at Rowan) and he got promoted to full professor. Avoid him if you can.

He is definately excellent, friendly, and easy to go to. Doesn't necessarily compliment often, but when you get one, it is because he has confidence in you.

If you are interested in the theater take this class. Work is not hard! Does do small group work. Tests are not hard. Most of the time you get out early. Not a bad teacher!
