EDU 2203 is the second part of three Foundations course for Education. Unlike EDU 1107 EDU 2203 is a 2 credit hour class, meaning you only meet twice a week. Another difference in EDU 2203 is that you only get 2 unexcused absences instead of three. The same criteria goes as in EDU 1107. Great class and can't wait for EDU 3333!! Love Dr. Castelli

Love Dr. Castelli he is a great professor who knows a lot about education. EDU 1107 is really easy but he grades on a 7 point scale (93 and up is an A). Honestly everyone should be getting A's but some people mess up on quizzes, tests, and the Chalk and Wire assessments and get B's.

Castelli has experience teaching a variety of grade levels/subjects. People complain about buying a book that he wrote but WHO BETTER TO EXPLAIN IT THAN THE AUTHOR?! Very informational text, and used for 3 semesters so buy it if you're an EDU major. His stories are always relevant to the lecture, easy quizzes and uses multiple testing styles.

Goes into detail, so those who aren't education majors may get a little confused, but he offers alternative assignments for other majors. No need to take notes; the ppts are on the portal.

Fantastic teacher. He gives 10 question quizzes on the assigned chapter reading almost every class, but you can miss three and still get a 1 (good score). Very interesting and understands engaged learning. He tells great stories and gets the class thinking. Buy the two textbooks, because if you do not read textbooks, you will do poorly in the class

Dr. Castelli is great. I took this class as an elective and I'm really enjoying it. There are a lot of quizzes and tests, and you HAVE to read the textbook, but he explains everything really well in class, and it's all pretty interesting. He's very likable, and his class is fairly easy. Take a class with him if you have the chance!
