Really good guy, lectures on the important stuff then lets the class out early most of the time. Do the homework and labs on time and you will get an A and learn a lot whether you have any computer experience or not. Electronic text book is a little touchy and small print, but the material is superb.

BORING! However, a mega easy A. If you have ever touched a computer before this class is beyond easy. Hard to stay awake and sometimes felt he got off on too many tangents. Pack your patience and stick it out. Again SUPER EASY A.

If you know computers, this is an easy A. He explains really well and NEVER strays away from the subject. He never bugged one student in my class, so I see him as a very good person. Half of the tests will be take home exams! WHOOOOO! Comfortable guy.

Mr. Deus is a very organized person, who is very professional in his approach. He speaks in clear terms and is very patient even with disruptive students. He's dry and methodical, but stays on topic unlike some other instructors. I had him for the last Excel 2003 class CISA 310. I highly recommend him for Excel 2007, which I am going to take.

If you know computers, it's an easy A. If you DON'T know computers, you will get at least a B. As long as you go to class, you will pass. They're homework assignments you need to do, but once you do them, you shall be fine. he gives little quizzes about information he just went over. Great Teacher. Do homework, do good attendance, And if u r new to computer, take this class to gain more knownledges. He is a helpful professor(he burnt me a cd,when i lost mine).Some time, his class getting a little boring thou.Mostly cuz this class got some easy stuff. Rick Deus is a really great teacher. All you do is do his assignments, which are not even hard. He doesn't give a lot of test. He also lets you take home the final, which is really easy. You also learn a lot in the class. If you do everything like i sad, you are gurantteed an A just like that. Good Luck

ONE OF THE MOST BORING CLASSES I'VE EVER TAKEN. IT DOESN'T HELP THAT HALF THE CLASS IS OLD AND COMPUTER ILLITERATE. TAKES AN HOUR TO COVER 10 MINUTES OF INFORMATION. I JUST SURFED ON THE INTERNET THE WHOLE TIME AND GOT THE HIGHEST GRADE IN THE CLASS. EASY BUT BORING CLASS.
