I loved this class! For an online class, it's quite easy. But be prepared to read 1 or 2 chapters, listen to lectures, and do a quiz each week. The class is a P/F grading system, so essentially get above a 70 on the exams, do all of the other assignments, and you'll get an A. The class itself is pretty interesting too; I definitely recommend it!

Dr. Weaver's very nice and approachable, she's not hard to get in contact with. She talks very fast and is often hard to keep up with. She wrote the textbook herself, which has all hw assignments and quizzes attached and you're forced to pay the $90 for it, which sucks.

I enjoyed taking a class with professor Weaver overall. She is very clear and straightforward and knows what she is talking about. Lots of extra credit opportunity. She always tells us to value sleep and our well-being first, and that anything with class can be worked out!

She talks very fast and slides only include bullet points so you must show up to get all the info. There are several opportunities for extra credit but exams and HW are fairly easy. Must get the book in order to to the embedded HW and quizzes after each chapter. She drops the 2 lowest scores for HW and quizzes. She likes to have students engage.

Her lectures are unbearable. She speaks so fast and goes on tangents. Way too in-depth for an intro/GenEd course. The exams are oddly specific, but there are study guides to help know what to study. She wrote the textbook herself and it's grammatically incorrect everywhere. HW and quizzes are pointless but boost your grade along with extra credit.

I'm not even three weeks into the semester, and I'm already crying my eye's out from this class. It is SO HARD. Matter of fact - the HARDEST class I have ever taken. The work-load is insane, and I am easily spending 5+ hours completing the reading, assignments, discussions, and group projects for it weekly. Wouldn't recommend it to ANYONE.

I did not really enjoy attending Professor Weaver's lectures. She spoke very quickly, went off on tangents, and often confused me. I only went to lectures because she would give random quizzes some days. The online work came from mostly the book and the online readings. The class was easy but not my favorite

literally so boring and there is way too much information for an intro class. I was excited to take this class but im just happy it is over. The online exams are very specific and don't assess your knowledge of the information. you have to attend lecture or else you will fail the exams.

Her lectures are scrambled and we will go over like 3 slides per class. Shell stop in the middle of a sentence and go off on a tangent and never go back. Online activities and quizzes are easy, but I would never go to lecture if it wasnt for the weekly in class activities because its impossible to actually take notes and pay attention

This semester was the first semester we did online exams. you can use the textbook and notes during your exam but she makes the tests lecture based. But during lectures she goes over about three slides a class so you have no notes in lecture. The the exams are super specific about one thing she mentioned in class. Not the easy A you think it is.

Dr. Weaver made class interesting by sharing examples and occasionally videos of relevant information and studies. The textbook is written by her so the information is very relevant to what we needed to know for exams. The exams were all open note and online. She wants her students to do well and constantly told us to value sleep and self care.

Professor Weaver gives a good amount of work, but is all pretty much based on competition and should be an easy A. All the homework and quizzes add up to count as another test so even if you don't do great on the exams the homework will really boost up your grade. All tests are online and taken out of class. She drops two lowest quiz grades.

Shes a nice person, but not a great lecturer. However, you should go to class because there are random graded activities and exam material only covered in lecture. She uses her own online textbook that you need for homework activities and chapter quizzes(which can be retaken till 100%). Exams are online and open note, same with the final.

online textbook that she wrote, assignments every week (activity and a quiz) in class activities that will bring your grade down if you miss. online exams are timed and doesnt give enough time, have to go to class on exam day and teaches exam info still. Im failing a 1000 level course as a bio major and junior, always says um and sort of.

The hardest online class I have ever taken. The assignments are doable, but you definitely need a book! Group project requires way to much work and she grades them very hard. And you won't get a grade on it back for more than 3-4 weeks. AVOID at all means.

Dr. Weaver gave us a lot of time and guidance on what she expected from the group project. There are weekly quizzes based on the readings that are pretty difficult but she gives a lot of extra credit at the end of the semester to make up for low scores. She also gave us an open-book, open-note final with a study guide.

She is very passionate about the courses she teaches but her lectures sometimes get really boring and difficult to follow along. A lot of the exams are based on the readings too which we don't learn in class. she also talks way too fast and during class, she reads off her computer making it very hard to learn. exams are also harder than u think.
