Hansen was an alright guy, he made some pretty rude comments and enjoyed putting people on the spot if they were late, or were talking, or on their phone, etc. He tried to make the material easy but the class itself is just dumb, I worked my ass off for a C+. He is willing to give points back on most tests though. Keeps class interesting

WORST PROF EVER! Avoid him at ALL costs. Super unorganized and does not know how to teach. He doesn't explain anything very and the material is hard so if you can't find a tutor or someone that can help you your in trouble.

He is the definition of a computer scientist. He doesn't really show you how to write programs, but shows you irrelavent material. The class is boring, there is a lot of homework, but it is required for many majors.

Very bad teacher. Doesn't tell you what you are learning, just buzzed through some seemingly random stuff on the computer while you wonder what you are learning. Weird sense of humor..annoying and sometimes insulting. Avoid him if possible. Hard to get an A

Hansen is nice with an odd sense of humor. CISC200 is worthless for 4 credits. We hardly covered anything: a little HTML, JavaScript, Excel, and Access. Shorter classes (MWF) are better. I was bored out of my mind most of the time. And most used the computer during class. He assigned something, then spent the next class going over it step by step.

Hansen is a nice guy, don't get me wrong, but he is an awful professor. At least with respect to CISC200 -- maybe he is a better professor teaching other content. He is disorganized, and even the information presented is useless outside of the midterm and final. You learn nothing and are left to stress with the cluster of information for the final.

Had him for the business computer class. He is so easy and has a good dry sense of humor. He gets off topic a lot of time, especially about his biking trips lol. I had a MW night class with him and it was a nice class to just wind down in. It does get a little boring, but its easy!

Awful teacher, an utter disgrace on the face of St. Thomas as a school. Walked in the first day of class and said he has ADD... he really wasn't kidding. Worst class ever, huge waste of money, and unfortunately its required for an accounting major. Yuck.

Hansen is a good professor, but he's kind of unpredictable. Sometimes you won't have any assignments then suddenly the assignment from hell will pop out from nowhere and be due in two days. He usually recognizes and tries to make ammends when he makes things way too difficult, though.

Most disorganized teacher ever. Never returned a single homework assignment for the whole semester, after he promised that he would. Don't expect to learn much. Nice guy however.
