IDK if we had the same Professor Freeland but this is quite possibly the worst class I have ever taken at OU. The online structure of this class is insanely awful and I have not learned a single thing. She is more concerned about people having their cameras on than teaching. Teaches new content up to the day before the exam. Do not take this class.

My absolutely favorite professor at OU! Lots of homework but if you pay attention, it's easy. Exams are easy if you study. At the start of every class she'll show pet pictures on the board that people sent to her. She's so sweet and actually cares about how we do in her class. 11/10 would take again.

Mrs. Freeland has been my favorite professor at OU. She is kind, caring, and wants you to succeed. She actually teaches material and is such an intelligent woman. She was so understanding during coronavirus online learning. If you get the chance, take one of her classes. Love her <3

You do not have to buy a textbook for this class but they give you a binder called the MAP which you do ALL your work in. Professor Freeland loves her students and really wants to see you succeed. She will help you with anything you need. However, if you take your phone out or miss more than 3 classes you lose 100+ points!

Susanne has a special place in my heart. As long as you put in the work that she asks of you, youll be fine. Attendance and phone policies are strict, but shes doing it in order to help students in the long run. She is the best accounting1010 teacher.

Professor Freeland made the accounting world as easy as possible for me. She cares about her students and invited us to contact her at any time outside of class if we had questions. Her classes never seemed long because she made them interesting! There isn't a textbook for the class, but there is a binder provided with all of the content.

a phenomenal professor in what would be regarded a difficult class. on the first day she passed out a syllabus that clearly states the grading criteria down to the point while explaining what it takes to succeed in the class. this class isn't an easy "A" but if you put in the effort she asks of you its very likely you will do well.

Freeland likes to make sure you understand what is going on and is more than willing to help you out. Strict no-phone policy, and attendance policy. A lot of people seem to struggle with this class so don't be afraid to go to SI and get tutoring if you need it.

Dr. Freeland is a great professor. She is very strict about phones and cheating but cares a lot about her students. I would strongly recommend her for taking your first accounting course, she moves fast but is always able to meet outside of class and responds quickly. She is very stern but very warm-hearted and caring if you get it know her.

Such an incredible professor. There is work but she makes it easy to learn and if you pay attention, you'll be fine. Such a sweet lady and gives you so many opportunities to do well in the class.

Professor Freeland is an amazing professor. She is strict with phones and attendance, but it is worth paying attention in class. She gives some extra credit and will give you big hints as to what's on the exams. Her lectures are very easy to understand and she helps you in office hours or after class with anything.

Freeland was one of my favorite teachers, she explained everything clearly and took time to answer any/all questions. In class she explains everything and then has you practice examples on your own, then goes over the problems in class. Attendance is necessary as she teaches at her own schedule, not necessarily by the green book.

Extremely strict professor. She knows what she's teaching but she piles everything on the class at once and expects us to retain it all. More homework than all of my other classes combined and a lot of outside research to teach concepts she glosses over. Having said that, she's probably the best accounting prof at OU which isn't saying much.

Freeland is an amazing teacher. She's strict and sassy but funny. It's Accounting 1010 so it's hard and she'll make you work for the grade but if you go to class and do the homework you'll get an A.
