She is a solid choice for Spanish 202. She gives a lot of homework and puts it in pretty late on canvas so be prepared for that. Comment:

Great teacher who is passionate and knowledgeable of the topic and always there for clarification. Although she is a bit unorganized, she will always be able to answer questions and elaborate on her miscommunications. Solid choice when willing to in good effort.

Professor Z has the reputation of being one of the more difficult Spanish teachers on Campus, but she does care about her students. There is a lot of homework, and that is pretty much what you go over in class. Just be prepared to get called on randomly.

LOVE her. Even if you aren't good at Spanish as long as you put in effort you will get a good grade. Very fair and understanding professor. Gives homework assignments every class but they aren't difficult. Tests are kind of difficult but not impossible. She does expect a lot of in class participation. Overall grade professor. I feel I learned a lot

Not the easiest class but she is really understanding when people's answers aren't correct in class. She does call on people randomly, but won't call you out if you're dead wrong. Kind of a lot of homework but it doesn't take that long to do. Not the easiest but overall good teacher

Zmurkewycz will rarely explain things in english even if no one understands. If you dont do the work or participate she will get mad. If you participate she will notice it and acknowledge you for it. Do the homework because she randomly collects it.

She gives way too much work compared to the other professors. It is not fair. Do not take this professor if you do not have time to sit and spend time doing your homework and understanding. 2 hours worth of homework after every class that is not checked.

She is such a sweet lady and truly cares about her students. The work is confusing but she's very helpful outside of the classroom. Will give extra credit and takes participation into consideration. Took our class outside a lot and that was nice, but I didn't feel like I learned a lot.

She treated this class as if it was a Spanish minor, not a GE. She gave an insane amount of work and projects. Also, she's a tough grader. She takes off for every grammatical error on the page. Super frustrating.

Comment:

Prof. Z is great for beginners. There's homework every night and the class is highly interactive. It's certainly not easy if you don't do the HW, but if you stay up with class and visit her occasionally, she will help and you will understand. Extra credit is always offered, and as a teacher, she is phenomenal. I strongly recommend her.

One of my favorite professors I've had. She only speaks Spanish which is confusing at first but it really helps you learn and shes VERY clear and flexible when it comes to understanding. Honestly if you just try in the class you'll get an A because if she sees effort she'll like you. Super nice and super helpful!!

She is a fun teacher to be around. She really knows the material and is intelligent. Good teacher. In this class, if you ask, you will receive help, I guarantee it. She is not a hard grader on the tests. Online homework every class but its really easy and you can just do it over until you get a 100%.
