Duff presented material in a way that kept my interest. Not knowing what Anthropology was all about, 101 was a good introductory course. Materials were interesting, if you came to class, read the materials and took notes, it was an easy class to get a high grade in. I absolutely loved that he gave us study guides for the exams.

A nice guy but really really boring class. He just talks the entire time. Sometimes at the beginning of class, at random, he has pop quizes that count as your attendance. You only have three tests and three papers. The tests are easy but are hard because you have no clue what to study for.

duff is a great professor who knows the material very well, you have to work hard in the class but you learn a ton. if you go to class you will do well, tests are mostly essay response so you do well.

HORRIBLY boring, but intensely easy. what do you expect, though, from a 101 class?

He had the tendency to make a very interesting subject a bit dry. He seems nervous during lectures due to being a fairly new professor. You definitely earn your grade in this class. A plus: he gives lots of "quizzes" requiring you sign your n
