Easy class. Show up on the first day! Some didn't and had no idea what he would grade on. 3 tests, one short oral presentation, online textbook work, and participation. That's all. Attendance is important. He gives you a test guide and even some of the questions before the test. A little quirky, cares about teaching, easy grade if you participate.

Mr. Taylor is a wonderful teacher. I was SO confused and afraid I was not going to pass. I would talk to him, and he helped me and assured me I would. He tries to be entertaining during his teaching. As much as I hated the subject, I liked him as a teacher. Have a problem? Go see him. Don't wait until last minute to do the online homework.

Attendance is credited. 3 exams (including mandatory comprehensive final). Lenient grader (if you don't know how to say it exactly, say its negation). No quizzes. Online homework isn't mandatory (but helpful and shows him effort which helps when he grades your exam). 5 min presentation in spanish (will give you 100% if you show reasonable effort).

TAKE THIS CLASS!! You'll love going because he is a great teacher and he tries to keep it interesting by joking about the material. It's overall not a very hard class. There's 3 tests (one is the final) and not very much homework assigned. He is pretty laid back during the whole class. You'll love him. -Adios ;)

Professor Taylor is in his 70's, and has been teaching a long time. If you want to learn, show up to class and pay attention. If you are struggling, approach him. He really loves what he does and it comes across in his teaching style. (also does his lengthly career, as he can be caught repeating a story or 2) Take it, put in effort, get an A.

Very nice guy, makes the culture interesting. Terrible at explaining grammar. Emphasizes speaking and vocabulary, participation important. Follows book exactly. No quizzes, moderate tests, Vistas for practice only, and one oral exam. If you're expecting to speak Spanish, this is probably not the class for you unless you're super motivated.

Do not take a class with him if you want to learn any Spanish. If you're just trying to fulfill a requirement, he is very easy. Completely useless for trying to learn the language.

Easy class. He doesn't want anyone to fail so as long as your oral exam is good he'll probably give you a B.

He is a very funny guy however he is more interested in his tangents in class then truly teaching. If you talk to him and try to negotiate, he's pretty flexible. I should have had a F but talked to him and pulled through with a B.

Great teacher, laid back he makes class fun with life stories but also teaches you Spanish very clear. Show up to class and you will get a good grade. He doesn't give homework he simply ask you to review the pages you go over in class very easy! Test are easy as well, he gives you hints for the test it's your responsibility to study them.

Sr. Taylor is a very nice person but do not take this class if you want to learn.I have taken him for all my espanol.I would be a fool to take a different instructor at this point.I think homework is important in grasping a foreign language.Repetiton is important. He is a very nice man but his stlye of teaching is to laid back.

Mr. Taylor is an awesome teacher. He does not give a ton of homework and one literally covers 4 pages a class in the book. If you don't read the book, don't come to class, and don't know how to use google translate when you get stuck then you might fail the class. Put effort in each day and you will pass.

I really did not enjoy this class. I wanted to learn Spanish and not listen to his rambles. He really goes off topic a lot. He also tries to embarrass you if you have not read or done the homework. I don't suggest taking this class. I ended up dropping it and going with another professor.

All exams are fill in the blank, the hints are relatively useless, and he even throws stuff in that was not even gone over in class or in the book. Also flipflops on what you can do for the Oral P. Class is spent more with him rambling than teaching the material. Avoid, unless you're exceptionally gifted at sucking up. Even then, only expect a C.

Taylor is one of the few Spanish profs at PCC who will give instructions in English, which makes learning much easier. I was overall very pleased. 3 tests and a 3 min oral presentation on yourself (plus attendance) comprise your total grade. He can be a bit absent-minded at times, but I recommend him as he is far better than any other Spanish prof.

Love this guy. He understands that majority of his students are just fulfilling a requirement by taking his class and tries to make it easier on us. He doesn't expect you to be fluent in Spanish like most teachers do. He practically gives you the exact material that will be on the tests. As long as you show up and study a little it's an easy A.

I started the class thinking it was going to be really easy like everyone. But no. Us rarely having homework only made the tests more of an impact on our grade. He did say what was on the tests, but it was way too broad of a review. I'm an A student and I got a C-. If you want to actually get a good grade AND get e-mail replies, do NOT take him.
