This was the most awesome professor that I had. Calculus is a challenge, so it is expected that the class would be a challenge.This professor sorta makes you feel bad if you don't know your basics. If you are anything like me, you will keep at it. I don't get it why some of you keep complaining,I hope you guys aren't expecting an easy A!

Why I was charged money for this online class is beyond me. I emailed him several times begging for help and he told me I was just being a perfectionist. I ended up with an A because I spent all of Spring Break teaching myself the material from library books. Most useless textbook I have ever seen and it is the only resource used in the class.

Took this online twice and finally waited for another professor due to the inattentiveness and confusion dealt with here. Very hard to understand the material or the professor and in an online class, had a terrible time getting a response by phone or email. Avoid this professor for online classes.

dont know why most of you are complaining. took this class online and and professor was quick to respond (even on sundays) and very helpful. calculus material is not easy but it's presented in a very good way and with all the possible explanations you need to figure out what you are supposed to do. A+ for prof and his teaching style

Horrible...absolutely horrible. This instructor is mean, arrogant, condesending, and seeminly lazy. Only 5 of 23 students passed his course. My 3.89 GPA dropped to a 3.46. The instructor does not like to answer questions and will often insult you and your math skills. I feel this instructor has no right to continue teaching. 5 out of 23...miserable

i was excited about this course in the begining but soon became the opposite!! horrible teacher and poor choice of book. book very technical and hard to follow and tests do not match book. teacher rude and little help. i retook this class w/a different teacher and got an A.

Prof had NO PATIENCE for my questions. So, I had to switch profs, campuses, books, & format halfway thru the semester to get out of his class & avoid an F on my transcript. I then had 6 wks of work and 2 exams to make up in my new class! Save yourself the heartache and take a dif prof for Calculus. Not sure how he would be for Algebra?

He is a great teacher, the material is easy. He is helpful and he knows what he is doing. I was scare to take this class after reading previous posts about this teacher but now I do not understand people who are warning others "Do not take this class"- it is lie!!!!! Worst online math teacher ever. Don't take him unless your absolutely proficient with the coarse. You will not receive help, he will literally make you buy the most expensive math book and say there you go. You have to figure everything out yourself and Calculus isn't fun without direction or explanation. AVOID HIM AT ALL COST.

His class was very hard. He only basis his grades on 5 tests and this includes the final. Even if he creates a problem on a test that has no solution he still marks you all wrong!!! Very bad instructor not recommended.

This teacher is fine. If you take the online course, just do the tests assigned. You get 3 chances per quiz and no time limit, except on exams. I almost dropped this class thinking I couldn't do it, just get through it. The final is proctored, just do the final exam prep a few times and you should get a decent grade.

I took his online course and the CD explains all the lessons clearly while Professor Braun also gives examples. Professor Braun gives a very fair amount of time for every assignment and quickly replies to any online messages in Angel. He provides GREAT (optional) practice tests that are nicely similar to the test w/answers provided afterward.

Stay as far away s you can! He will bring your GPA down by just signing up for his class. He missed more days then anyone else, told us we could have a make up test then decided we couldn't. I hate math already and this just made me hate it more! Please remember STAY AWAY!!!

Well, I just finished. I think I got a C...I took his online class. He is sometimes confusing. Giving you different types of work for your homework and different types for your test. Even though it is a difficult class, he is quick to help you if you post a question. I'd say take this class if you do relatively well with math (unlike me).
