I have nothing but good things to say about Bill. He cares about his students and really wants to help them grow their writing skills. Also, he is hilarious and fun to be around. Your stories/poems will be solid ink when you get them back. He spends a lot of time on your work, and gives exceptional feedback. Take his classes. They are wonderful.

Great professor. He's passionate about writing and demonstrates his passion through his lectures. Obviously for Creative Writing, we did a lot of writing. Snyder is a fun, quirky guy that likes to motivate his class by playing his guitar or juggling. I loved his course and highly recommend taking it.

I did not have a good experience with Dr. Snyder. I felt as if I was personally victimized by him, and found his conduct to be borderline harassing. He was unclear in his writing critiques, and unhelpful when asked for clarification. He would admit there wasn't anything to better in the writings, but continued to give me B's without disclosing why.

Dr. Snyder is awesome! I'm so glad he's my professor! He made writing essays not scary for me! Snyder has got the system down, he breaks up deadlines for essays and works with you to revise them. You need to read kind of a lot for the papers, but his min word count for the essays is very low! He grades on digging deep. I'm so lucky to have him!

Snyder is excellent. He is an awkward guy which makes it fun to listen to him. The BEST part of the class was when he whipped out his guitar and sang us 'Barbie Girl' on the last day. SO FUNNY!!! He is worth taking.

Dr. Snyder is an interesting character. His class is super easy-as long as you read the assignments and are a decent enough writer to be able to convey your thoughts (papers are only 500 words). His class consists of discussion, some film, but no tests (some quizzes). Very easy to talk to. Experiential learning was really interesting too.

Fun proff, though mandatory attendance was not exactly a good idea. We only needed to show up about a third of the time we did for everything we learned. Fair grader and gave a lot of chances to make an A, you just had to be willing to do the work. I'd recommend him if hunger in foreign countries is interesting to you.

Bill is cool, but you won't learn anything. He's obcessed w/ hunger and all that. The stuff you read is boring. Going to class is pointless. But he's a nice guy. I'd take his class again. I just wouldn't go as often as i did.

A very enjoyable class. He gives off "burnt-out hippy" vibe and may seem kind of strange, but he's a really great professor. I'd recommend him to anyone.

Snyder has my all-time respect for being able to put his personal feelings aside in a discussion about politics or, well, anything. he does not impose his beliefs on others, and that is not only refreshing but makes a great learning environment. He treats us as equals, respecting our opinions.
