Sr. Linehan is one of the most amazing professors here. She truly cares about what she is teaching and her students. I thought I would hate philosophy but she changed that. She is tough grader because she wants to get as much out of you as possible, but she is also a very fair grader. If you work hard, you will achieve in this class.

I took her for philosophy and it was a lot of reading but the tests are directly based off the readings and class discussions. I also recommend taking her service learning class! Had her for my first year seminar and it was an interesting class. She is a sweet old lady and always willing to help but she loses your attention quickly with superficial discussions, however she isn't a hard grader and only had 3 papers and a few quizzes. Would recommend taking this class if willing to do the service.

I took Sr. Linehan for my freshman service learning philosophies. She bases her readings off of articles and small books. Easy to understand, goes over material in class clearly, and a fair grader (A-/A). Participation is part of the grade. She's very approachable and a wonderful person.

Sweet older lady. Tries hard to get the class involved, but loses your attention fast. Topics drag on foreveerrrr. Reasonable quizes and papers, but you need to read and pay attention in order to pass. LOTS of reading, but for the most part, interesting topics.

A very nice woman and a great class. She is not an easy grader in any sense but she is very fair, and what you will get what you deserve on papers and tests. She takes attendance and grades participation, so go to class and raise your hand. Tests are tough, as is the paper, but if you put in the time you will get a good grade. Highly recommended.

I had her for human person and moral philosophy. She's a really nice person and always willing to help. Class isn't easy but she's a really good teacher if you want to learn. A lot of work but she always goes over everything in depth. If you study you'll do fine. Great as a service learning teacher

i think she's an awesome teacher. she always has really good examples and will explain anything until you understand it. she's a tough grader, but as long as you do the work you'll get a good grade. you'll actually learn something in her class.
