Comment:

Dr. Bob darling is a good geology professor. However, his tests can be a very difficult time crunch. Its as if he expects Harvard level graduates to enter into his classes. He will take you on some cool field trips where you get to observe and collect rock samples. Overall not bad not certainly not good.

I am not science. I don't science. But he is a great man, and knew everyone's name without taking attendance or teaching the lab. I am so happy I took this science GE. In order to pass, go through the review terms and write the definitions. I am happy with my grade for not being able to science. Don't buy the textbook.

Great teacher for what I found to be a terribly boring subject. If you have to take Physical Geology, this is the guy you want. He's clearly passionate about the subject he teaches. Gives review sheets before exams and grades fairly. No homework either. Just be prepared to memorize the info on the review sheets and you'll do well in his class.

I love Dr. Bob! He is willing to explain everything for you, down to the very last detail. Extremely helpful, and a great guy in general! Class was a lot of fun (if you love geology), no texbook, so just study your notes...it can't get any better than that!

Dr. Darling is wonderful. His class is all lecture from power point but if you just copy them and study them you will do great. He gives out review sheets and is always available to talk to. He is one of the nicest professors on campus!

Dr. Darling is an awesome teacher. He uses great power points with pictures and really wants you to understand the material. He gives a study guide for each of his 4 exams and does not give homework. He is very approachable and welcomes any questions. I would take another class with him in a heartbeat!

Dr. Darling is the man!! If you take his physical geology class, it is almost definite that you will enjoy it. His exams are fairly difficult (if the proper studying isnt done), but if you learn everything on the study guide, it should be relatively easy. I highly recommend any class with Dr. Darling.

He is a good teacher overall, however you must go to lectures and take good notes! there is no textbook all the texts are based off notes from lecture, if you put in the time you could easily get an A in this class.
