Grading is pretty clear, she does reviews before a test which helps a lot. 2 or 3 papers total but really easy grader. Didn't read much but if you listen to lectures and participates with her games you should be able to get a C or B easy.

I thought she will be boring but she was alright. I would recommend to read your book instead of her powerpoints. Great teacher but sometimes she didn't discuss any infos for our test so you must read the chapters before you take your final exam. Don't you dare fall asleep in her class or else you will get embarrass I've seen it. Games included :)

So I passed this class with an A.. but I hated every moment of it. Have you ever wished a professor would get fired because you don't feel they haven't earned their job? She's one of those professors. Her study guide isn't helpful, she is terrible at one-on-one and she's been WRONG several times during lecture, but you won't catch until you read.

She's unclear when asking for help. She would direct people to read the syllabus even when your asking about the syllabus, so no help there. Best chance to learning something from the class is to READ THE BOOK. EVERYTHING comes from the book, even the study guide. And you do get graded with attending class. So every pt helps. Overall, it was okay

She will not give you any heads up for when the assignments are due, and it's pretty much self study all the way since her lecture will barely have to do with the exams she gives out. Her class is mandatory but it's pointless to go. Pick service learning instead of class project because it's time consuming and confusing. Hated her class.

Her directions are clear as mud. Many students were lost with the research project and a lot of other assignments. She creates study guides but only few problems are on the exam. You'll have to spend more time out of class with her to understand the material. She also has a condescending attitude. Would not recommend her to my worst enemy.

I got an A. reading the book is extremely helpful on tests. Idk about the powerpoints that the book gives out were helpful cuz i never used them. i read her own powerpoints. 5 online posts, meet the #words, i think you'll get full credit. 1 research paper and service learning, or interview proj.

Boring class.. She doesn't make learning interesting or fun. Her stories are funny and what she does sometimes is funny, but her teaching isn't that great. VERY OLD SCHOOL STYLE TEACHING. Her own powerpoints sucks, and she doesn't go over things in-depth. I don't recommend her class at all.

I probably would have only gone to class on test days however she grades harshly for attendance. she also shows favoritism and is extremely condescending when you try to talk to her one on one.. unless you kiss her ass throughout the year. her power points that she posted were helpful, but she was not good. Idk how shes been teaching this long.

WOULD NOT RECCOMEND. VERY RUDE. She provided very little explanation for major assignments in the class and offered little help when asked to explain further. She often strayed off topic during lecture and would talk about her life and other things. I feel the only reason I did good in the class was because I studied on my own.

This professor isn't for you if you genuinely want to learn something in this class. Branson's alright, but her teaching skills...not so much. I learned more from the videos she showed us than her powerpoints. Often gets side tracked, & she's not afraid to tell students off. Overall, I wouldn't recommend. I find myself dreading to go her class.

I liked this class a lot. Branson is a funny teacher. She doesn't give any homework and most of the work in class is easy. She runs through power points fast but posts them on laulima. Exams can be tricky if you don't know your stuff. But it's still passable if you don't know anything, trust me. Overall, she's an easy professor.

if you like structure and like to know where you are then this isn't the class for you. honestly i didn't like her because she gets side track a lot! she has so called study guide but they're not really useful. yes she lets you have notes during quizes and its multiple choice but note cards wont do any good cos of the way she writes her quizes.

I'm actually disappointed; I didn't really enjoy this class. Branson has a great sense of humor, I'll give her that. But her lectures weren't helpful. She skimmed through powerpoints, without time to take notes. Often went off topic. She gave examples that left you hanging or confused. Even w/ the 3x5 cheat sheet, her exams are difficult.

She is Amazing! she is fun and gives outlines for the test under learning objectives and also gave bonus study guides. The people who dont like her prob didnt get a good grade. She has all of her powerpoints online and its easy to print. Show up to class cause its fun to learn from candy!

I got an A. I think the class was fine. People here rely too much on her study guide. Just study on the uploaded power points( the textbook power-points) for studying. It's more reliable than her study guide. Trust me. And if you really want to enjoy the class, read one chapter prior to class.
