Absolutely, the worse professor I've ever seen. Very lazy! If you have her, run as fast as you can. I usually dont speak bad on anyone but I really dont know how she got a chance to work at Rutgers. At times, she herself doesn't know what she is talking about. Never gives productive feedbacks so dont bother wasting your time with this woman. ughhhh

Professor de Laurentis is a decent professor. Her class is not too difficult. If you show up to her classes, listen to her read assignments from Sakai and Word documents and turn in decent writing that you used samples to guide you on you'll do fine.

Worst professor ever. No matter how hard you try in her class it is almost impossible to get a grade higher than a CC+. She gives so much classhomework and it is all for nothing, all she counts at the end are the essays. Do not take her!

Assignments are ambiguously worded & confusing. She uses peer review to avoid looking over the work. If she says you're doing okay, don't believe it. She really doesn't know because she doesn't look at your work until the end. If I had known she is lazy, I would have saved myself a lot of stress. I did so much work but it didn't matter.

Easy class as long as you do your work (and there's a lot of it). Follow grading rubric and samples she provides when doing your final paper and you will do fine. Very harsh grader, but won't fail you unless you hand in something completely unexpected.

As an older senior, out of all my years of RU, I have never seen a more scornful, jaded and incompetent instructor...ever. Condescending of students, doesn't update syllabus, disorganized Sakai, list goes on. Extremely harsh grader, I suspect she gives out harsh grades to cover the fact that she is under-qualified. Waste of time and money.

One of the worst professors I have ever had. She gives everyone C's for different reasons every paper. She doesn't help you with your papers, and she doesn't want you to use real examples or draw on your own knowledge. She was really odd.

ms. delaurentis is an expos teacher (yes, the dreaded expos). she is tough with the papers, but she is very witty in class and opens up your mind to a broad array of different ideas, all in abstract, which is cool. but the class itself simply blows.
