Her exams are a hot mess. she should take time to make organized exams since we are paying for this class. I never understood why she tries to trick her students, you can easily know the material but not understand her exams. Also, her exams are never based on what she tells you to study. my reccomendation: DROP THIS CLASS.

It's my last history class ever in my entire life. She's very dedicated and knowledgeable, but isn't cut out for teaching. Her lectures were super hard to follow and be prepare to remember every details in the textbook if you want to survive her quizzes. Avoid her class.

Now history was one of my favorite subjects in high school, but holy hell did this class DRAG ON. She's sweet, and you know she loves what she does, but she could be a LOT clearer. She jumps around a lot, her quizzes (6) are confusing, try to record her lectures. Read the textbook! I managed an A but you have to put a lot of effort into it.

Overall setup of the class is easy. 6 Quizes, drop the lowest one. But, she hardly speaks english. Her test are half her lectures/ half the textbook. The tests are confusing because u have to look for the wrong answer. She may also be the most boring teacher in the school, make sure to bring to some sort of entertainment with you to class.

This class was one of the worst classes I ever had at Baruch. She is amazing person and extremely hilarious but her organization skills are horrible. She creates grades based on quizzes that are always multiple choice and always had mistakes and never done on time. I wish she had an assistant because she was a great person. Not so great professor.

She makes mistakes during lecture, then has to correct them the next class, especially when it comes to significant dates. She does not take attendance but you have to show up or else you'll be completely lost. She uses class notes evenly with text notes for exams. The final was fair. It wasn't really a final but rather Quiz 6. It's essay format.

..Her tests are confusing. What she does is she makes up multiple choice questions and then next to the question she puts mark the false statement or mark the true statement. You really have to be good at following directions, because they're all different. There's no pattern. Just because 1 is T doesn't mean 2 is going to ask for the false answer.

This class was an easy A. 6 quizzes, no midterm and no final. Quizzes could be based on lecture notes or textbook, so read both. Quizzes are mulitple choice, had to choose the false answer. She gave extra credit for attending a class b4 Thanksgiving and the last class of the semester. It doesn't hurt she's a bit entertaining too. Loves what she does

She would give you 6 quizzes only, but the way she makes them!... and then she would say;"only 10 out of you 100 ppl got good grades"

Great professor! Very nice lady, with a sence of humor, very friendly to everybody. I really enjoyed her class, interesting lectures. You need to listen to her lectures, because a lot of material on the test is from class lectures. I defenetly recommend, she's very sweet and interesting person. And it wasn't hard to get a good grade.

6 non cumulative tests, lowest one of which she'll drop.True & false tests are confusing. One in class essay. If you want to do well attend lectures and read the book.Up to three points extra credit essay on one of the films seen in class. She is really funny, nice and helpful. but way too much work for a history 1000 level.

Decent, but very biased. Strong anti-Europe agenda, immensely pro India. Never a good thing to say of the former, or a bad thing of the latter. Spends an entire week on Gandhi. Unnecessary in an intro history class covering 1500-present. Slanted, and tries to pull at peoples heart strings to rally their support of her position. Don't recommend.

She gives you 6 tests and picks the 5 highest. I skipped my "final" (one of the tests) and still manage to get an A. Her lectures aren't as boring as other professors since she added her own things/experiences in there. However her student teacher usually grades the tests and sometimes makes mistakes. so double check.

Excellent teacher, knows her stuff and really really nice. The grading is super easy quizes, and she drops the lowest one. Gives you extra credit on the quizzes and in an assignment. The first quiz is a garunteed full score too. She is amazing. If your not retarded and read the book you'll get an A.

she's a sweetheart. she has a good sense of humor and is very intelligent. she likes to focus on India. no final. there was about 6 quizzes, multiple choice. one or two papers (short). her quizzes(tests) were kinda weird. i hated the "true" "false" makeup. made it a bit hard. overall, the class can be very easy. worth taking. just study and read :)

If english is not your second language, you should have no problem understanding her. i am confused most of the time and she likes to TALK. Her quizzes are confusing, chose the false ones. She is very unorganized and easy to talk into almost everything. took the summer session which eliminated a lot of materials. overall. i don't like history
