Amazing teacher! so entertaining to listen to. takes attendance but posts lectures online. She makes class fun and cancels class a few times. She really cares about her topic and students and it is all really applicable to the real world. would definitely take her again

Comment:

One of the best professor at jmu. She's really helpful and cares about her students. She gives extra credit and a lot of opportunities to bring up your grades. Definitely go to her office hours and take advantage of that because she's really helpful. READ THE TEXTBOOK and study the vocab and you'll be fine for the exams, but READ THE BOOK it helps.

This class is a pretty easy class. She teaches very relevant information. Most should be able to get a B or A in it. She gives a lot of opportunities with grades. She doesn't just rely heavily on tests but still important to do well on them. Overall, great class and professor, she is very nice and respectable. Would take her again.

Cathy is amazing she is so knowledgeable and caring about you if you to her office hours. Her class is basically a personal finance class but you actually learn useful information. JMU should not make this a freshman require class but make her class a requirement for all seniors for you know how to manage your money before going into the real world

Cathy is a great professor! I hated her class but she made it bearable. It wasn't her that was bad it was just the material. She really cares about her students and she's super approachable. She brings positive energy and I definitely would recommend her for bus160. She's always prepared and goes out her way to help students. I love her!!

Had her for an 8am and loved her class. She is so sweet and made the class enjoyable. She really knows what shes talking about and the stuff you learn is SO useful. She was very personable and pretty funny. If you can, TAKE HER!! Its a pretty easy grade and she offers extra credit and you can also work with people on some of the homework.

Professor Synder was AMAZING!!!! She only gives a few homework assignments which aren't too bad just a little time consuming. All of the tests are online, open book, and you don't have to go to class the day of a test. She genuinely cares about her students and wants them to succeed. Definitely my favorite professor at JMU!!!

AWESOME CLASS!! So much better than the other stupid critical thinking classes in Cluster 1. You actually learn things that you'll need in life- and Prof. Synder is so awesome and nice. You get 3 absences, there are 4 tests, easy HW to bring up your grades, and a project. No final :) Easy A.
