I was in Juster's class seven years ago, it was my worst experience at CSUF. That man is not fit to teach. I graduated a few years ago but last night, after all this time, I had an honest-to-goodness nightmare about the man. I can not stress how awful he is and that there is no reason to be in his class. If you get placed with him transfer or drop!

Prof. Juster was one of the best professors I had last semester. To him, it wasn't just a math class, it was an opportunity to teach his students how to be successful in life after college. Every aspect of his class is meant to help you in the future. If you listen and follow his advice, you will have no problem after you graduate. TAKE HIS CLASS!

The ONLY way to pass his class is repeat EXACTLY everything he does on the board there is no such thing as doing math your own way, it must be a replication as he does it or you will fail the class. so many good students i know failed his class. the material he teaches is simple its his teaching style that is awful

I COULD NOT STAND THIS GUY. He made up his own course material pretty much and lectured on the most random stuff. He is like a Nazi no excused absences, no bathroom breaks, etc! I had a pregnant girl in my class that was having her baby any day and he told her that wasn't an excuse for leaving class to go to the restroom! WORST PROFESSOR EVER!!

This was the worst teacher I have ever had. I dreaded each day going to school. Please do not take this class. He is a Hitler and you have to do everything his way or you FAIL. Also, he treats the class like a business meeting... so you cant leave for the bathroom, talk, or be late or he wont let you in. Major jerk. Don't do it!!!!

The class itself is not hard, but he is such a ridiculous grader that it's very difficult to receive a good grade in the class. He's incredibly picky about the method more than the actual product. All the tests are open note but most of my class still failed just because he wants it to be written exactly the way he does it and marks it off if not.

He is very picky! But he makes it very clear at the beginning that you should do everything like he says. I understand that he wants to prepare students --in his own way, but it doesn't make me feel any better when I get dinged for ridiculous things. My suggestion: TAKE NOTES ON EVERYTHING NEATLY and EXACTLY like what he writes! Open-note/hw tests~

Personally, i didn't enjoy the class too much. He says funny things at times, but you really have to be a great notetaker and can hold off going to the bathroom because he will NOT let you go. Everything is his way in the homework you do. Miss a step and you get no credit.

Just take a lot of note from the first day of class, especially when he's talking about life. Do good in the exams,tests, quizzes they are usually easy. Don't miss class. There is one lame group project but if you follow instructions and have all your info youll get at least nothing lower than a b.

If you don't like math, then you should take this class. More than half the things I learned had to do more about LIFE than math EVERYTHING has to be his way! The research project blows. The 3 exams are easy, because you get to use any notes that you have :] I did horribly on the project, but I did well on the three exams and received an A.
