I put in the work and was doing well throughout. We had a paper worth 25% of the grade and she decided that this was when she was going to get strict, this was an honors course and most of the class got B- myself included. Running the numbers I still should have gotten an A in the course but she chose to punish me when it came to participation - A-

She is an awesome professor, I took her summer 1 and missed a few days. I worked hard studied for test and passed my class. She warns you if your coming close. But be ready to read, she picks interesting stories so it's not that bad. Making it to class on time is harder. As long as you can get to school know the material you are reading you're ok

Professor Smith is the best, I wish I could had take her for ENG.2150 :/ but anyways, don't expect easy an A on this class you have to work for it, but you will learn a lot from her class. Annotation projects, digital archives, quizzes bases on readings, visit to the museum, a final (including a essay), sounds like a lot but thrust me is worth it.

A wonderful professor and also a beautiful woman. She does not make too much rule in both writing assignment and lecture. You can freely spend all you inspirations on writing and lecture discussions because she like new ideas. She respects and listens carefully every sentence students respond and always gives feedback to students.

I took her class during the Winter session and there were A LOT of reading to do every night. Her pop quizzes are very specific and are like exams. Other than that, she is a very nice woman and the class discussions were very interesting. She even gave out prizes for doing oral presentations.

A wonderful, wondeful professor. Her class was always engaging, she incorporated concepts and ideas that were unique (i.e. we created a radio broadcast as a project) and was exttremely helpful. Whenever I emailed her for help she was always there to provide a suggestion. Take her if you can, she's a wonderful person and a wonderful professor.

Absolutely amazing. Even if you aren't into literature, she will GET you into it. A total sweetheart and very willing to listen to everyone's thoughts. One of the best professors at Baruch without a doubt! People loved her class so much, they wouldn't leave even when she ended class early. Very charismatic and an excellent intructor!

If not the best professor at Baruch certainly one fo the best. Material was hard but she provides such insight that you cant help but be fascinated. Always makes herself available to help. Challenging and very interesting. Take her if you want to learn and improve writing. She is super knowledgable and respects her students. Fair grader.
