Took this professor back in 2013-2014. He was an amazing professor and I enjoyed writing my essays, I also learned a lot too. I've been needing to take ENC1102, but sadly he seems to no longer be at HCC. A true caring instructor that loved what he did. Wish I could take another class with him.

Hybrid class- YES YES YES!! Greatest guy ever, awesome sense of humor, very understanding and makes it clear what he wants from you. Homework is minimal and extremely easy. Not a harsh grader. Highly recommended

Lowe is a great teacher. I took his class hybrid on Mondays. He is willing to help you out and wants you to pass with an A. Textbooks are used for homework which is easy & he provides online powerpoints/tutorials for extra help. I'm def taking him for Comp II in the Fall!!

Professor Lowe is the best English teacher I've ever encountered, he's funny and easy going he helps you with anything and there is never any homework. Mr. Lowe is an awesome professor. He makes the class so fun and interesting. H will never fail a writing of yours and will let you redo a writing that needs improvement. He is very funny in class and makes the class go by fast . He is very helpful with writing and makes everything clear. You have to try and fail the class to actually fail it.

Mr. Lowe was an great professor. As long as you do the work and have the basic knowledge of how to write an essasy following the intro, body, and closing it will be an easy A. I have never felt confident with my writing skills and I received an A in the coarse with hardly any effort.

Lowe is the best teacher at HCC . I am so glad I took him for English 1 because he is very good at what he teaches. There is no way you can fail unless u never attend class. He lets students rewrite papers until they have earned a passing grade. He was very clear and professional that's why I took him for English 2 and earned an A in the class.

Professor Lowe is simply the best! This was my best class by far since I have been at HCC. He is crystal clear on all his assignments and gives all the chances to correct and resubmit assignments. Professor Lowe is simply the BEST!I have had many other professors at HCC, and for sure he is without doubt the best. He is very passionate about his craft and wants the best for all his students. The students who complain are those who show up late or not at all. He does his job extremely well;remember this is not high school, this is college.

He's a really all over the place teacher, rambles more than teaches although the assignments arent hard just being in that class is a real bore. Also he thinks he's real funny and says the worlds lamest jokes so if you want to hear that for an hour and 15 mins take him!

I Never had a problem with english untill him. He was never clear with what he wanted, and when I would ask him a question it was like I was asking him to go out of his way! I mean it is his job. His handouts were not clear and I had to get help somewhere else, The place I got help from even said he was unclear.

If you have not taken Professor Lowe take him now!! He is absolutely amazing and sometimes a little lame, but you can't help but to love him. He is so full of life and the things he does and says makes you laugh uncontrollably. I would take him for all my classes if I could.
