I cant believe there are bad reviews for Dr. Ngin. Sure, she can be a little unorganized, but she is an amazing professor and person. Shes super sweet and her class is really easy! Shes one of my favorite professors, I recommend her 100%.

Very messy, unorganized, and hardly lectures, if at all. Tries to get everyone to participate, overly enthusiastic, mediocre English. Most of the time we just did group work and the tests were unbelievably easy (logic-based). Easy A if you do the homework, which is also super easy. Just show up and participate (or don't, she won't mind too much).

Not bad. Fair grader. You must have the book as her exams and quizzes are from there as well as lectures. Pay attention to those. She's a flexible person and passionate about her field. There's about 4-6 group papers depending on what you wish to do. If you volunteer for epic and write a paper afterwards you don't need to take the final.

Most boring lectures ever. She's very unclear and teaches more on an open forum style. Quizzes are beyond difficult. Grades essays very critically. Class feels like it never ends.

A LOT OF READING! Moodle assignments weekly. Very unclear and unsure of what she was expecting on finals/quizzes. But did well on class. She was fun but we didn't really cover much. Mostly just discussed book (all 7 of them).

Class is difficult to follow along. Used online activities but unclear what was expected. Relied a lot on her assistants, and was behind on informing us on our progress in the class. She is a very sweet lady though, but needs to put more dedication into teaching.

Def very passionate about anthro. But you won't learn much in this class. She only talks about herself and her past students. Pretty easy though, all quizzes are online plus one research paper.

Funny and nice lady. requires only one book. You also have to turn in question related to the readings that's how she take attendance. She also requires a project where you have to present it towards the end of the quarter. She seems all over the place but overall good teacher.

A very good teacher who knows her stuff. She is easygoing and a very compassionate teacher who takes the time to get to know her students. Sometimes she gets carried away on tangents, but she is very open to criticisms and questions. her classes are very interesting and full of relevant information.

Her english isn't the greatest but it's passable. She was very unclear with her expectations and her projects. A couple of times it was flat out obvious she didn't understand the material she was presenting. I wouldn't recommend her in the slightest.

shes a good teacher, but what do you expect? you got to study in order to get a good grade, this is college. 2 tests-35% 1 paper-30% extra credit is offered and does help. the class isn't the most interesting, but so what...for most of us, it's a requiered course.

Probably one of the most boring unclear professor i have ever taken. Please stay away from this class. There is no form of studing for this class since she does not even give notes to study for. Although she may seem like a nice person, her exams are really difficult.

she seems really help students, but she doesn't. The test is not easy at all, because nothing related to the book. attendance is useless because she just explained about the outline that she makes for herself. a lot of video questions in her final. The extra credit just worth 1 point.
