If you indulge in the class it will be a breeze. She really knows what she's talking about. The book is ESSENTIAL to passing the exams. Got A's on all of them.

This class is super easy. Pay attention to what she says during class because she tells you exactly what'll be on the exam. I recommend buying the book and sticky noting the pictures she talks about and write down what she says about the picture. everything that she mentions WILL be on the exam

Did not attend class often, got the notes from someone else each time. Her tests are based on pictures, so if you know what art work is important and the time period you will do well. Xtra credit is attending museums/ writing papers on your findings. (not always convenient) She gives important notes at beginning of class & that's all u need to pass

At first I struggled with this class, but she gave out a lot of extra credit by going to museums and writing papers on it. If you go to class and take notes and study you will get an A. The class can be very boring, but if you go to every lecture she will drop hints for what is going to be on the test. 4 tests, drops lowest one.

I actually loved this class. She knows so much about the material. You have to go to class, pay attention, and take notes. Miss one and you will be lost. She makes it pretty easy to get an A offers various extra credit and the exams are easy 40 multiple choice. I actually got above 100 average. If you don't care you won't do well.

The tests are all done via scantron. take notes in class and you'll be okay. our class has about 200 people in it so generally the tests are always messed up when she releases them. i'm an engineering major so i have no use for this class. TBH i hate art, and i HATE history. but the international credits are what i need so...

If you like art and history, Art 110 will be perfect for you. If you don't, do not take because you will be bored. I loved art history so I loved this class. She is clear and reviews past material each lecture so to drill it for you. Very visual class and is all picture powerpoints. Very good at lecturing!

If you don't have an interest in art then it's probably not for you. She's very passionate about the topic and that comes through in her lectures. Sit towards the front and you'll be fine, she repeats herself a lot and tells you what's important as long as you pay attention and write down what she says you'll be fine Would absolutely take her again

Actually found this class fairly easy. Sit towards the front and you're golden. Thankfully, you don't have to memorize dates, and the tests are entirely visual off a powerpoint. Tends to repeat herself often, which is actually helpful for remembering details. Doesn't cover a whole hell of a lot past the 19th century, though.

Very intelligent and loves what she teaches. If you pay attention and write down what you have to then the class should be easy. I think students would get more out of the class if the class wasnt a lecture hall or maybe less students. All you hear is students complaining saying how boring it is but its a very interesting class also sit in front

She's SUPER knowledgeable. If you go to class and write down the things she REPEATS over and over, it's impossible not to do well. I've taken 4 different Art classes with her on purpose. She really makes it come alive!

3 Exams and extra credit. Sit in the front rows to hear her. Best option is to make a chart for all of the pieces of art with artist, time period and other information she presents and study that for the exams, will make it easier to remember. She is very knowledge and interesting. Take class if you are interested in viewing art.

She teaches off of a power point. She really explains in depth but doesn't have a big voice so to hear her I recommened sitting in the front rows. If you pay attention you will pass no problem. Because everything she emphasizes in class ends up on the exams.

Loved her! your grade is decided by 3 exams and extra credit, but attendance is mandatory because everything single thing she says in class will be on the test! so pay attention! also the extra credit work will go a long way so take advantage of it. overall study hard for the exams there are only 3. she was a sweet teacher i enjoyed her lectures.

She's very nice, but doesn't know how to control a lecture classroom. She tends to repeat herself. However, is easy to take if you go to class. You can get away without the text, but her tests are based off the pictures and their descriptions, which she puts in a powerpoint every class.

The class is difficult. You need to be there to know what is on the tests. She rambles and most of the information is given as the class is ending because she spent too much time on one topic. You had better be interested in art history in this class and know how to make notecards. Study! AND KNOW ABOUT JACKSON POLLOCK!

She repeats herself and uses key words so I had an easy time taking notes. She is very into what she is talking about, but doesn't really think others opinions are of much value. She grades really weird? like C++ A--. Context and dates are important in this class. Generally good if you study enough before the tests, a lot of memorizing.
