I got a lot out of the conversations we had during class which you should go to, as often as possible. It was hard to tell exactly what he wanted from the papers and you'll be doing an analysis of a poem, short story and other play. Good class. Cool teacher. Take a class with him definitely!

Cool guy, but not a good teacher. If you like getting an easy A and not learning anything, he's a perfect teacher. But if you actually want to learn something, try a different professor. We never got a single assignment back. No feedback at all. No tests or exams. Only used 1 of the 3 books we bought and even that was minimal. Waste of money.

absolutely amazing teacher. I would recommend him to anyone. He loves what he does, and it can be felt by every student. Make sure you go to class, and always participate. Other than that, it's not difficult to do well if you honestly try.

AMAZING professor. You can tell he really loves his job, and absolutely the only early class that I haven't missed. He makes class enjoyable, and the work isn't overloading. I would recommend him to anyone. If you stay on track with your work, it isn't hard to get a good grade. However, if you start to fall behind, it won't be good.

When I took this class he had a lot going on so it seemed that this english class was not on his priority list. We got our papers really late and were all given A's. This made the class really easy. He was very funny and kept us entertained. His choice of poetry was different than from other profs I have had.

As far as his taste in poetry, you are trying to objectify a subjective opinion, moron. Allen Ginsberg and the like are great poets, what do you read? Some flowery ****, I'm sure. Very passionate about writing. Friendly guy, loves talking to students, very down to earth- slightly hippi-ish. Not sure how much I really learned in his class, but he really made me want to write more. Very honest with his criticisms and they can be very helpful- he really does know what he's talking about.
