Comment:
Subject is easy, Chris is pretty flexible on stuff, it's just that the class is pretty annoying. Assignments before every class along with a lot of case studies and a LOT to read and write. It kind of seems pointless at times, and i feel like i am wasting my time.

Hundhausen is super chill teacher. Homework assignments aren't very hard, reading assignments here and there but nothing over the top. There's a final paper at the end of the class that's a group project. It seems intimidating but it's very straight forward. Really nice guy. Would definitely take his web dev class in the future.

I love Professor Hundhausen. He's so nice, approachable, and helpful. Plus, his class is fast paced so you can learn a lot of material-- fast. His sense of humor is awesome, beware of farting around him. If you need help, you can come and talk to him anytime, like I said before he's really approachable. Overlall, best class I have.

Hundhausen does not lecture, instead he codes into existing framework he has already created for class time. It is very difficult to understand what he's doing, and the code usually isn't functioning by the end of class. This course is graded only on 5-6 major assignments, all of which extend way beyond the scope of what he teaches you.

For the first month there are a decent amount of assignments but none of them are very difficult. Attendance is mandatory as he takes participation using clickers. As long as you put in a little bit of work it is pretty easy to get a good grade. There is one group project which is an essay but isn't too difficult.

Brought in tons of guest speakers, they were mostly interesting. I wrote a lot of papers and learned a bit about ethics/patents etc. All the guest speakers also gave us their contact info which was great. He and his TA Carla really care about the class though. They did a fine job. Do the work, put in effort, and you'll get a good grade.

Hundhausen sucks. He's boring and takes this stuff too seriously but he can't even properly organize the ridiculous amount of busy work he assigns. His smugness and pretentious attitude are unethical imo.

The worst class I have ever taken by far. SO much busy work and the online environment is absolutely chaotic. The syllabus is a mess with grading criterion that are incoherent. This class is such a drag and I despise the EECS department for forcing EE's to take it.

Given that the subject of the class is very boring he is fine at teaching. There is way too much busy work in this class though

Boring class. Pretty pointless but they require it for some reason. More geared towards CompSci students and not Power. Just show up and do the main project and you'll pass pretty easily.

Teaches a class between psychology and computer science, but doesn't appear to actually know either field. Uses terms from the field incorrectly. Disagrees with well founded ideas in the book. Didn't learn anything useful.

I can't believe Hundhausen still has a job teaching. Calling what he does in the classroom "teaching" is an insult to all educators, a quite frankly incorrect. One could replace him with a mentally challenged guerrilla and the course would not be affected in the slightest.

You must learn concepts on your own by reading the book outside of class, as each class period will be spent either doing a quiz or listening to some sort of group presentation. Hundhausen has managed to manipulate the format of this class to the point of where he has to do zero teaching. Sometimes he can't be bothered to show up (TA does instead).

Peer eval system for group assignments result in direct manipulation of grade, multiplier anywhere from 0 to triple credit. Multipliers not shown until after semester. Records attendance via iClicker. Regular quizzes based on readings. No late work accepted, many assignments on pass/fail basis only. On tests, requires particular verbage for credit.

This class had so much potential but Chris Hundhausen completely ruined it. He will not work with you on a prior grade even if he is the one at fault. Classes were very monotonous and he is just not a good or even instructor. Was corrected multiple times in class by other students. DO NOT TAKE.

WORSE professor ever! Do not recommend taking his class. His iClicker thing is the worse idea ever. He refuses to work with students who has technical issues. Don't even bother trying to argue a grade with him. Confusing questions and he tries to get you to fail. Recommend to not take his class unless you absolutely have to.
