Best professor at Clarion. He is beyond helpful and enjoyable. McCarrick has a very dry sense of humor, so some things he says may come off a little 'smug' as other people have said but he is just sarcastic, not mean-spirited. He is so intelligent and I've learned so much from his classes.

Dr. McCarrick is so great! Everything you talk about is fun and interesting. You write your papers and you get to keep fixing them and handing them back in. He will explain everything perfectly and is so positive! AMAZINGGG!

Dr. CMcC is probably one of the best professor I have had. You can go and talk to him anything you need something. He is by far a great teacher, gives you comments on all which allows you to revise until you fill they should be graded.

I was willing to give this class a chance. What I was not aware of is the fact that all of the work I got back (When I eventually got it), would be filled with cocky little comments that are supposed to be "helpful". Na, **** that. Maybe he could save some time and actually return work on time if he didn't have to think up retarded comments.

dr mcc was an awesome prof. after taking his class i think of things in a whole new perspective. i found his lectures to have nothing to do w/ what we were doing in class, but they were always fun and interesting. he was very helpful. very respectful. fun to talk with in and out of class

I learned a lot of really interesting facts in that class that I never really thought about such as colors and there meanings!:)Although writing his papers does involve a lot of thought it makes things real interesting:) I really recommend taking him for Writing II

Show up for class, don't skip. Participate in discussion. The reading is rather dry, but he is a really smart guy. He will often come off haughty and always plays the devil's advocate. He's trying to make you think. Do your work, write on the discussion board. No tests, you can resubmit assignments.Do that and you have an A. Think outside the box!
