Comment:

Is willing to spend one on one time if you pursue it. Very helpful and a nice class to go through. He's quirky and funny. Made sure to explain everything thoroughly and that everybody understood. I would go to class to ensure a good grade.

This is perhaps the worst teacher I have ever had! For a group project, we had to redo all of our data 7 times...7. times. Because he could not give us full and complete instructions, and he also changed the instructions midway through. He will give you assignments, but tell you the ones he want handed in, which is nice. But, he is also boring.

Mr. Width is awesome. He's really funny and makes the material interesting by using sometimes outlandish scenarios that are usually pretty funny. A few group projects, but they were pretty painless. He gives extra points on a lot of assignments and quizzes.

He moves at a fast pace however he explains everything clearly (you have to pay attention or else you will get lost). Offers a lot of extra help such as group study sessions and then class study sessions. I highly recommend going to the Thursday study sessions THE TA GIVES A PRACTICE QUIZ SIMILAR TO THE ACTUAL ONE If you go, a 9 or 10 is guaranteed

Comment:

You can only miss very few points, something like 5-6, in this class to receive an A so get on the material early. There are quizzes every Friday which is much nicer than having only tests every couple of weeks. I highly recommend going to study session every Thursday they really help. Overall, very reasonable professor.

Dale is the worst teacher I have ever had in my entire life. I have always been great at math but he managed to make it not make sense. I feel bad for the kids who have a harder time with math. If you have a harder time with math do not take math from Dale, I repeat DO NOT take this class if you have a harder time with math.

Awesome teacher!! He's very helpful and makes really cheesy jokes that I just love. There's a lot of work, but it is a college class, so it's kind of expected...He's awesome, take him!

he wasnt much help he seemed to be a bit confused himself hardly ever their during his office hour... the class is all group projects that are a lot of work be sure to take it with people you know so you can work together

Pretty easy and chill guy. He'll give very little quizzes on occasion, but grade is mostly based on 3 unit exams, final, and group assignments. He can be funny at times too. I highly recommend him.

really funny guy, really nice and helpful. for tests you get extra points basically: if its out of 90 total on paper he will say the most you can get is 90 but its out of 85 or something like that, easy grading. ONLY flaw is that he goes pretty fast in lecture, but if you ask questions he will slow down and answer them. RECOMENDED

Dale is a good professor. He is funny and he relates the math to things going on on campus or the world. Only gives homework once or twice every two weeks. He gives you points if you attempt on quizzes and exams. Basically, you go, you get a good grade. He is much better that other math profs. I have had at CWU.

Has 10 point "mid terms" every week that usually consist of about 3 math problems. His curriculum is very bad and he covers way too much material in very little time. Would not recommend this prof.

What ever you do, ALWAYS HAVE YOUR PHONE ON SILENT. He gets extremely irritated when he hears a students cell phone go off and will sometimes even kick the student out of class. He is an alright teacher, he isn't my best math teacher but certainly not my worst. He has his own sense of humor and its pretty funny.He's a decent teacher.

Random teaching style things didn't make sense on the board at all. Not good at explaining things. when asked to he just restated what he had already said. it seemed he would explain half then expect the rest to just work itself out. Could barley read handwriting on the board. only good things were weekly tests and he gave points for work.

Very fun teacher. A little goofy with his own sense of humor. Although, he would often make mistakes on his examples, when corrected, it all made sense. If i didn't understand a certain concept, I felt very comfortable approaching him during his office hours for extra help.
