Belding is excellent. I had never taken calc in high school, and struggled greatly during his class, but he made it manageable. He was very clear in class, gave out a fair amount of homework, and was so helpful during office hours. I took away a lot of great skills.. and more importantly passed. His exams can be tough, but can be done!

Belding is a great Calc I professor. He is very straight-forward in his expectations and does many example problems in class. His calc-lab is all practice problems. I highly recommend taking Calc I with him!

Comment:

Professor Belding is one of the best math teachers I have ever had. The tests were fair, and labs and quizzes were helpful. daily homework isn't always necessary to do unless you need more practice then the labs and weekend homework. If you have to take any math course, take it with Belding!

Belding is by far the best math teacher I've ever had. His labs and homework are very helpful, and his quizzes and exams are extremely fair. He's aware of the fact that math is a tough subject that not everyone understands, so he's willing to take the time to make sure that everyone gets it.

Professor Belding was great. I disliked math and also was not the best at it. He helped me at least 3 times a week for hours each time. He never got frustrated with me when I just didn't get it, and took the time to explain everything to me without making me feel like a burden.
