Comment:

Dr. Cicci is a great teacher. Very willing to help with outside of class times with any questions you may have. Gave homework every class period but his tests came straight from the book and he tells you that. Go to class everyday and if your grade is borderline most likely it will get bumped. Great teacher for learning the main concepts.

Dr. Cicci has been the second worst professor I've had at Auburn, after Hundley. I came into the class thinking we would get along well, but we did not. Every chance he gets to mark you absent, he will. And if you "miss class" enough, you fail. I learned to stop asking questions in class after a few weeks. Avoid if possible.

Dr. Cicci was a great teacher and he made the course really easy. Your whole grade was 3 exams and there was no final. The exam problems were exactly from the homework and the exams were open-book. If you didn't get an A or B in this class you really were pretty sad.

Dr. Cicci is thoroughly the worst professor I have ever had the displeasure of experiencing. Not a single professor before him has deducted points for simply skipping a step in showing work. When I asked him a simple question on the details of my final grade, he berated me for being one minute late and called my final grade "sad."

This class is very difficult, but I learned a lot. The homework is long, but it definitely helps you learn the material. He keeps up with attendance, so be sure you come to class. If you miss 7+ class days, he will fail you. The final is optional, but he will curve your grade a few points if you take it. Overall, he is great.

Dr. Cicci is definitely a man who sticks to his principals. If you come in late, turn in your homework AS YOU WALK IN. you cant turn in at the end of class. That being said, he is one of the best lecturers I have had yet in my 3 years of education and is VERY clear with all his explanations/examples. He knows his stuff. Take the time to study tho.

Let's be honest, you don't have a choice anyway, but Cicci is a really good teacher. GO to class. You will be fine if you go to class and do the homework. Tests are really not that bad, but you do need to study a few hours the night before and be sure you know the definitions of the things he lectures on, not just the problems.

Orbital requires a lot of time and work but Cicci is a good teacher. He covers a lot of information in one day so you have to go to class to keep up. He is pretty helpful outside of class. Recommend taking Cicci if available.

Great class. Orbital isn't easy, but he explains everything well. Do the hw, even though he doesn't collect it. Has a sense of humor, which makes for an interesting (and "Top Secret") final. Drops your lowest test grade, but not the final. Beware of the learning problems! He thinks you need to learn something while taking the test. Few do.

You're either good at dynamics or not. There's no way around the material. It's hard. Cici is a good professor though and explains the material pretty well. Go to class and do the homework. Drops lowest test grade.

He's a tough professor, but if you try on your homework and know how to apply the basic principles you should do fine. He's pretty good about giving partial credit, however he goes super fast in lecture, so be prepared to write really fast.

He is very good for Orbital Mechanics, really seems to enjoy teaching this class and obviously loves the material. Pretty funny guy in class too. Not easy by any means, but an excellent teacher overall. Also, he does not hate civil students, he just thinks Aerospace students are better at Dynamics...

Comment:

This was his last semester before his sabbatical so he was too chill, which sucks because Dynm. is hard. Some of the answers to the hw were wrong and his TA count off for them anyway. Tests were pretty fair though, although I found out later that he bad mouthed us to his upper level classes. Hates civil engineers, for good reason though so it's :)

Decent teacher, pretty easy to understand. Drops your lowest quiz and test grade. Takes up homework, grades it, but doesn't record it. He says its to let him know who's trying and who isn't. The TA's are not helpful at all. They are aero grads and some of them know about as much as the students do. Stay away unless you are an aero major.

Hard class no matter how you cut it. He does help you out by dropping low quiz and test. Definitely favors the Aerospace students. Would advise against taking him if you aren't AERO.

He's a pretty decent teacher, this is just a really hard class. He drops your lowest quiz and test grade, which helps so long as you only have one bad quiz or test. And by all means do the freakin hw. It doesn't count for a grade, but he'll bump up a hi B to an A, C to B, etc. and the tests are pretty similar to the hw, especially the quizzes.

I did not like his teaching methods at all. He did not seem very interested in outside help.I went to his office and he made me wait so that he could chit chat with another professor. The TA is your only hope.

Took in summer, only 9 quizzes, no final/tests. Do the HW as it comes they are the quiz. The TA can help a lot. The book stinks and some problems are unsolvable. You can "make-up" 3 quizzes, or retake and replace them if you already took them.
