Professor Elliot is well-informed about the topics he discusses and is well-known in the paleontology field, however I found the topics to be boring and not entertaining. He doesn't tell personal stories to make the class more interesting and speaks with no inflection in his voice.

Dinos (course subject) aren't his specialty, but his strengths as a professor and paleontologist made for an awesome class on dinosaurs. Sometimes repeats material, "beating a dead horse," but this'll only help you in the long run. Tough tests, with mostly short-answer questions, but you'll excel if you take good notespay attention to lectures.

Dr. Elliot is great, and I especially loved only having field trips instead of an actual lab. I'm very glad I chose this class for my lab science. His voice is also nice to listen to, but it's so soothing that it was hard to stay awake in his early morning class.
