Dawn is a very nice professor and she is there for you if you are struggling. She will help push you along. She grades very hard. She has very very high expectations from her students. I did very well on my speeches, but we had a midterm and a final that was multiple choice mostly from the online book that was not reviewed. This hurt a lot ofgrades

This was a very hard class for me. I had major anxiety about public speaking. Dawn did help a bit but she was just a very hard grader. She's a very nice lady and is willing to explain what she wants from your speech. But I feel as if those with anxiety don't have much of a chance at an A.

LOVE HER probably my favorite professor I've had at West Chester so far! I was absolutely dreading a public speaking class, but she makes it so much fun. She genuinely cares about each and every student and always wants to help you out. She's a bit of a hard grader, but if you try and show that you're putting in a lot of work you'll get an A!

One of the best public speaking teachers. There are three speeches you must do, but she gives you all an outline of how to do them. She is really helpful and is an easy grader.

Professor Reitz is absolutely incredible. I have never had a professor who is so committed to helping her students. She genuinely cares about each individual, and she wants everyone to be successful. I recommend her to everyone at West Chester.

SHE IS SO SWEET AND ONE OF THE MOST HELPFUL PROFESSORS I HAVE EVER HAD. SHE MAKES IT A PRIORITY TO LEARN YOUR NAME AND MAKE YOU FEEL IMPORTANT. SHE MAKES SURE THAT EVERYONE UNDERSTANDS EVERY TOPIC BEFORE MOVING ON. SHE IS VERY UNDERSTANDING WITH ANY TROUBLES YOU MAY HAVE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER. SHE MAKES PUBLIC SPEAKING A FUN TOPIC.

Dawn was fantastic! I had her while she was covering Persuasion while Dr. Sawyer was on maternity leave. She did a great job at explaining the difficult theories. She is super passionate during the class which would keep us interested. She also was always very open and willing to help before or after class. She is one of the best teachers at WC

Although Dawn is a VERY nice and funny lady, she is way too much of a tough grader to make this class worth it. If you can afford at most a B and lots of hours outside of class then I recommend her but for me this class requires too much work and frustration for just a gen ed.

Dawn is an amazing teacher. For a 10AM class, she was more than energetic and a great way to start my day. I loved having her as a professor. She made everyone feel comfortable with public speaking. Dawn is one TOUGH grader but with some hard work I got As on my last 2 speeches. TAKE HER!

Dawn is amazing. Not only does she make you feel confortable with public speaking, but she also is an amazing person. I had her in the fall of 2010 and I still talk to her occasionally after 2 years. I would take her agian if she taught classes I needed. TAKE HER!!! :)

Dawn was awesome.. the class was challenging because, lets be honest, public speaking is (for most of us) something that comes with ease yet she made fun and I came away with an A as well as a rewarding experience.. it's not that I'm a bossy public speaker but I tried hard and gave it my all.. and resulted in an A. glad its over but good times

Dawn is absouletely amazing!!! Loved her. Extremely helpful but a very tough grader. Practice before speeches and if help needed go asap. She will literally write your speech for you at times. Very good professor, recommend her!!!
