Comment:

Professor Rizy is hands down the worst professor I have ever had during my years at RWU. His lectures cover different material than the book he assigns and his exam are not representative of the material he covers in class or in his slides. Furthermore, his exams are confusingly worded and meant to screw students over.

Comment:

100% the worst professor I have ever had in my life. He is absolutely useless and extremely inconsistent. This year, he started using a new textbook, but still uses powerpoint that correspond with the old book that he didn't even make himself. He also expects you to read 80 pages of info for 20-question quizzes and the questions are SO specific.

This class is the most boring class I have ever attended, he stands in front of the class and talks about things that don't even make sense. He gives us a list of concepts for each chapter yet those concepts are not covered in class or even in the book.

Reads exactly off of his powerpoint (which he told my class he found off of google...) and his tests don't even relate to what we learn in class. He means well but he has no idea what he is doing. We had to label diagrams of the eye, ear, tongue, and brain. He didn't get any of them right. He does scale his tests though which is nice.

This class was death by PowerPoint. He always read off the slides and his class was so boring. His tests had material we didn't even cover in class. His notebook assignments made up for it because it counted as a test grade. His final exam was the same questions and answers from previous tests. He is a nice guy but lousy professor.

Dr. Rizy is such a nice guy. He really cares about his students doing well and he tries to make class interesting even though he does read off powerpoints (all info is from the book). His tests can be a little hard; gives study guides, but what he tells you is hardly ever on the tests. But he does scale them! Would take another one of his classes.

a good guy who means well, but ultimately his class is a huge waste of time. he reads off of power points that he posts online, which makes going to class pointless. hardly any of the information on the power points are on the actual exams.

had him for intro....worst teacher. he is a nice guy but the class is boring. if you talk to him after class and let him know that u are trying he will add that to your grade. i wouldnt recommend anyone to take him. he just does powerpoints which are boring as hell but he scales the tests which was a good thing for me! lol DONT TAKE HIM.

had him for intro to personality theories...really good guy and he means well, but he does not teach the material he puts on the tests, which are difficult. talk in class about the case studies and do well on the final term paper and you'll get a good grade

He is SO nice. He is willing to help out anyone who needs it. He shows powerpoints that he made straight from the book so they are very clear, and I love psych. I love psych but other people don't like him as much as I do cause they don't talk. If you are interested and you are active in the class it wont be half bad.

Terrible professor. Stories don't relate to the topic at all. He gets a lot of the information confused and tells you two different things during class. The tests are very difficult but open book so just make sure to read and study from that.

this teacher is so boring and confusing. the class is pretty easy if u can make yourself sit through the boring lectures. the test's are hard and confusing but he always scales them. be careful though, he once told our class that he was giving us a quiz and when he handed them back to us he told us that they were going to be weighed as an exam.

Boring man.He is very strange at times.He was sick for more than a week straight and tried to cram a lot of information into a shorter period of time.His tests are pretty difficult because they are so specific, but you can use the book. Do the homework in groups because other people can help a lot.

really NICE guy!!I would highly recomend him if you are able to teach yourself out of the book.He will always be there to answer any questions that you have.In the beginning its like'what the heck is going on?'but after a while you get used to it and realize that he is a great person and an easy A.

I spent the whole class, as did other people, just doing the homework because we all got so confused trying to understand him. Be ready to teach yourself. He's really nice and will be willing to answer a question, but as long as their very specific.
