Professor Schiltz was a beacon of goodness in what was otherwise the worst semester of my life. She is a brilliant teacher and has a great rapport with her students. If you ever need help with ANYTHING, just talk to her and things will start to seem better. She is clear, collected, and understands the subject well. Couldn't recommend more.

Schiltz was the first professor to open my mind up to philosophy. Be prepared to participate. Wonderful teacher. She is the nicest, funniest, and most helpful professor in the world and I hope to keep her as my advisor when I declare my major in philosophy.

Lectures were often hard to follow and boring. The readings were interesting but the class didn't have much structure. She grades very slowly.

She is an amazing prof. She makes her topic really interesting and funny. Even if you hate philosophy you should take a class with her. She is also a really supportive person and she will hear out your opinions no matter how ridiculous they are. One of the best classes I've ever taken!

Take something non-Western with Schiltz, if you can, because she is unafraid to engage critically with Eastern traditions, and she really knows her stuff. She leads discussions better than any prof I've had. She's also probably the nicest person on earth.

Ancient was the wackiest class I've had at Wooster. If you're not in to Philosophy, just looking for a humanities credit, take this course! If you are really into Philosophy, you might find this class too easy.

Love this woman. Big things I learned in her class include WHY it's bad to be a crack dealer, and that Nietzsche had the syph. Plus a lot of philosophy stuff too. Connects really well with her students, and is easily approachable after class. It's easy to get away with a decent grade in her class even if you don't read.

Great professor. Funny and witty and oh so nice. She is however, a little insane, but it makes the classes so much fun. She makes the material easy to understand. Take one of her classes if you get a chance, you won't be disappointed.
