Comment:
Dr. Welfel is approachable, and genuinely interested in your capabilities in class. Both she and her GA for this course were adept at making extremely time consuming and difficult material decipherable. A real experience, this class.

I just completed Dr. Welfel's Ethics class, and I found it to be delightful. I was expecting a dry and boring class, but it was engaging, exciting, controversial, and VERY current. I don't know why someone would say her views are outdated, all her sources are from the late 90's and as late as 2010. She was a practicing Psychologist for MANY years.

She's a boring teacher but tries to engage the class in discussion about ethics. She made it a point to tell us she got a job as a Professor at, like, 25 or something. Which means she probably never worked as a Psychologist. That's the problem with so many Professors -- they know little about the working world.

Comment:
She calls herself an ethicist, and that she is. Although the class is not difficult, expect lots of reading material. She is the only professor to teach this Ethics course. A bit unfair. Her perspectives are old and her lectures are stale.
