I don't know why she has received so many negative reviews but I enjoyed her class and the little communication I had with her. Pros: The class was clearly laid out and easy to understand. Her lectures were short and easy to follow. Cons: The textbook was expensive and almost useless. Simple weekly assignments but pretty tough Mid-term and Final.

Very disorganized, unclear, passive aggressive, should never teach in an online environment. Fairly easy grader, but not worth the stress. Textbook is worthless and expensive, all info on subject available online. Not recommended!

Not happy at all. Exams are very tricky; and the grading is NOT fair. Kept losing points even though submitted the very same write-ups as my classmates. I TOTALLY not recommend this teacher; there are better options for you guys. Take GPH370 with Trapido-Lurie. She is a way better teacher.

I loved this class! The lectures were enjoyable, and the prof & TA both helpful in learning information. Modules were treated as take-home exams more than homework, so you are mostly on your own with those. I don't see how anyone could pass this class without attending the lectures. This is a good class to take if you are thinking of a GIS career.

She's pretty useless. Horrible lecturer. Everyone in my 100 prsn class sits and does nothing. All the work for this class is online. I don't understand why I'm here. Class attendance is your choice. Makes it even more pointless. Easy yet I always wonder what exactly i'm doing.

Good Professor but you better be willing to do the work. If you dont understand something ask and you'll get an answer. If you miss a deadline it's on you. I know she takes this level of responsibility to her undergraduate students as well - don't come to her class(es) unprepared. Do the work and you'll get the grade you deserve.

"Libby" is one of the meanest, nastiest, least helpful and self impressed people I have ever met. Her lack of professionalism nearly led me to change my degree focus. Too bad she's been given any degree of authority, she's clearly a product of affirmitive action.

Miss Wentz is approachable & nice. You need to know how to create & edit web pages before taking this class. All of the modules are posted on a personal web page via MyASU, but posting on the web pages doesn't often work as it should. The exams are very hard, but she knows it so there is a curve.

the subject (maps) is pretty dry, but she's really nice and helpful when you ask for it. her exams are tricky! but she gave us a very generous curve, and she grades based on overall progress- not just exam scores and percentages. attendance was helpful- reading the textbook is really only useful for defining things and further understanding terms.
