She's nice but most of the work is done on your own through Simnet and Connect, you you're teaching yourself. It's very long and tedious and cuts into time for other classes. Also, I don't think the Simnet is graded fairly. For the most part, it's a sort of do it yourself class. I'm a hard worker and I got a B, which I wasn't happy with.

Its hard you have connect and simnet online homework. There is a PPT project. For connect you have quizzes and tests. For simnet you have readings, projects, and tests. You have to really work for it and it takes time. If you can take try and take another professor.

What a disaster. The work is not that difficult. However, it is extremely time consuming and tedious. To make matters worse she is very unclear with her directions, and knows nothing about the programs the class requires. Never answers emails, and lectured maybe 5 times. The class is basically on your own. If you are disciplined you will pass

Prof Reid...wow. She's very nice but she kind of babies you throughout the course. Gives A LOT of work but it's all very easy. Same goes for her tests and SNAP exams (they're easy, I mean). Research project was actually kind of fun to do (you research a career of interest to you). If you want CSC-105 over w/, then take Prof Reid.

Very organized and structured class. You will learn alot about Microsoft office that you didnt previously know. Most of the in class work can be done at home but she shows you how to do it in class. If you just do all the work outside of class, you will get an easy A. She sets up several homework assignements to help you study for the tests.

HORRIBLE. I can't stand her or her class. She treats you like a baby, like you are dumb. And she tried to act like she knows it all when she barely knows what she is doing in the first place. There is so much work and tests, and quizzes. I was so confused. Don't take her. So pointless.

This professor clueless. She doesn't understand material in the Digital World textbook nor does she explain the powerpoints. She reads directly off what the publisher wrote on the ppt. Questions via email are never answered. She only talks to students during her office hours. It is essentially an online course with a pointless lecture in the mix.

Prof. Reid is a nice lady and her class is not hard. There is a lot of work but all of it is easy, just time consuming. Otherwise she is a very friendly lady and I enjoyed her class, if you know how to use a PC then this class will be very easy for you. I would recommend her.

There are probably better professors out there, but if you are on the fence about taking her I'd say do it. If you've ever used a computer before CSC105 is a breeze! Although the class is a lot of busy work, it was a very easy A. Just take time to do the assignments outside of the classroom and you'll be set.

Lots of tedious work and stressful tests that count clicks. Only the tests on the book material are hard on stupid things like the history of computers. You need to really read the book to study for those.

You will want to rip your hair our from the amount of work that this requires. If you do it all, it's impossible to fail. She's a great professor and makes the class as fun as computer science can be.

Great professor, very kind, self explanatory, although you do get loads of work which was annoying but it wasn't extremely hard, pretty easy hw. Let us decide if we wanted to take the final and drop our lowest grade. Shoutout to dave, her assistant. Take her, you won't regret it. Never wanted to miss one class. Thumbs up Professor Reid !

Worst professor i have ever encountered. She sounds like the beat up vinyl i have sitting on my shelf Brain dead She gives to much work all in the same time frame to worry about while still floating your other assignments. She must have some kind of concept in her head that we dont have our own responsibilities. If your smart dont take this class!!

Best professor if you want to learn something. she does snap for testing and teaches form two books. as long as you do all her homework on time and do final power point project you can easily get passing grade. all her exams are form Snap and book tutorials. I did once before those test and I got A's and B's in most of my test. ********************

Professor Reid, very professional, kind and extremely helpful. I think her way of teaching was pretty self explanatory and if you had god attendance and did the assignments she appreciate that. I learned a lot in her class. Great, great professor!

Caring teacher IF you come to class and do the homework. The homework takes a lot of time and you need to study for the CUT tests. Most of my class failed those. The project is not hard and you know early enough to do the research needed. I am an older student and knew little about computers but now feel I know alot. Do the homework and study!!!

Professor Reid was kind but I wouldn't call her a great teacher. The class was easy but her concept tests were pretty difficult if you don't know the material already so you might actually have to study to do well on those tests her application tests are easy though except access her project was easy and she drops bad grades she is easy and fair.

The work is tedious, the class itself easy. Most days you leave early. Plain and simple the class is okay, but if you do the right thing, stay on Reid's side(to which she is a pretty nice professor), and study the material, you'll do well. She's a fair grader, gave us the option to take the final and even dropped a grade of our choice(limited).
