I had Professor Lokken for two classes - PSC 211 and 250. He was extremely well versed on the subject and offered great feedback. He was flexible and understanding, if you have any questions or need anything, don't hesitate to ask. I would take him again!

Fred was very kind and understanding if my papers were late. One discussion due every sunday for participation and final is a paper. Grading is on discussions of the chapters and 3 papers. Overall easy informative class.

I am not into politics. But he made the class awesome, I learned a lot, and in a easy way! He is so flexible and accessible! Amazing and funny, a great resource! I'd take other classes from him if I could. Totally recommend him.

Professor Lokken , Is a great professor. He gives clear cut directions for his papers, if you can follow directions you will get a in his class. He got an unfair review in the past, I never felt that he was overly biased towards any candidate during the election. I liked his class so much other one of his classes this semester.

Over all Professor Lokken was very good. If you don't mind sitting and listening to long tedious lectures you will survive actually BEING in the class. Lectures are long and for me unbearable. Attendance is not at all mandatory, Study guides are clear and similar to the midterms(there is 3 and comprehensive) He gives lots of extra credit!

Fred doesn't take attendance but that doesn't mean you shouldn't go. There's a lot he goes over in class that will be on the tests and he does a great job a describing everything. You get what you put into the class, bottom line. Easy grader and he wants you to pass. So take him and pass! Easy peasy, lemon sqeeezy.

If you're not intonpoliticis it's a very boring class. His tests are really difficult because the review isn't good at helping you know what to study. Papers are straightforward. Do the extra credit.

i took the online version of this class and loved it. I spent about an hour each week at most on what was due. Online tests were easy and he is not strict about when things are due. Do the quizzes, online descussion and the two written papers and you pass with an A. He is also a really nice guy.

The only things we had grades for were testes and papers. It was pretty hard to get a good grade. The only thing I appreciated was that he graded our papers fairly. Professor Lokken said over and over that he was a non-partisan, however, he clearly favored Trump.

The subject is easy and interesting but he is a boring teacher, talks a lot, goes off topic, he is open for questions but he will talk a lot more. He'll help you if you ask, really wants you to pass, hes just dry and rambles.

Online course: Multiple choice quiz on each chapter, you get 2 chances. He wants you to do well, so participation is mandatory. You can read/take chapter quizzes at your own pace, but you must post to discussion board at least once weekly. Book is needed for reading, but I have the 2010 edition instead of 2011 and it is working perfectly!

Great instructor. I took the online class and I would recommend it. Read the chapters thoroughly to do well on weekly quizzes which are multiple choice. Research paper is easy if you put in a little effort. Good class to take with a full load.

I took this class online and it was extremely easy. He makes for interesting discussions and is very passionate about the subject. He is very encouraging and wise. I highly recommend this class. There is a writing assignment but it is fairly easy. You can watch the daily show or the colbert report for it.
