Comment:

Danielson is a very nice guy but his class can get fairly dry and drag on. The course consists of two tests, the final, two papers and blackboard quizzes. The tests aren't that hard if u read the book and take good notes in class. Go to him for help cuz he likes participation and will help u out in the end. Final wasn't too bad either.

This class was the most boring class I have ever taken in my life. The tests were not too hard, but sitting through class was painful. There is a stupid presentation and two papers that you have to write which are graded very harshly. If you get stuck in his class, you'll be okay but get out if you can.

He is a nice guy, but not a good teacher. He knows his stuff but cannot "teach" the information properly to his students. Class is boring and tests are very hard to get a good grade on unless you live to study finance.

I like the guy a lot as a person, but not as a teacher. Hes one of those guys who has you walking away from a test or quiz thinking "Yup. I aced that." and turns out, you actually bombed it. He's a trickster so read questions carefully. Make sure you're ahead of the game because he doesn't slow down and gives the worst help if you're confused

This is by far one of the most arrogant and sarcastic teachers I have ever had. He is very unclear on tests and expects you to be a financial expert, even though he is not one. Everything is subjective and the only guaranteed answer is "if it beats expectations." Morris, if you were a stock id sell you immediately, you did not beat my expectations.

Math is not my strong point so I took Danielson based on other reviews. He explains everything very clearly. So long as you work on the practice problems posted on Blackboard, you'll be fine. As I realized, it's not so much math as it is knowing how to use your calculator. I did not use the text book at all.

Finance is difficult no matter who you take. With that said, he is very nice and has a dry sense of humor which can be quite funny. He has an attendance policy but doesn't really enforce it. Gives many online quizzes and his tests are challenging but fair. He doesn't speak at high volumes so it's hard to hear him at times. Overall, a good guy.

I would definitely take danielson because he writes the final for all finance classes, so you'll know how he tests...Webster teachers his classes through Excel but you have to use a financial calculator for the final-in other words, you're screwed..also, this class isn't that hard, I had no trouble at all getting an A

Prof Danielson was very knowledgeable in Finance. I had taken a Masters FIanance course with him. He was very fair in his tests and projects. He was always willing to help any student, and always replied to e-mails very promptly. He had a good sense of humor also, which helped.

Great guy, funny too. Class isnt bad alittle boring but so is the material. Involves alot of math on the calculator. Tests arent bad but you need to how to do the problems in and out. Gives extra credit. quizes are on line and are very easy. no work in class other than 3or4 tests.

if Danielson was not my finance teacher, i would have failed. He was the best teacher! I did horribly on most of the exams, but I went to him for extra help all the time, and he was always willing to help. But make sure you show up to all of his classes! Def. take him if math is not your strong point. He's very fair.
