Comment:

One of the most difficult professors I've ever taken. Every single time I or a fellow classmate would walk out of his class after a test we would be in tears because we all felt as though we did so poorly. He didn't cover most of the material on the tests, nor did he give a heads up on it. There was so much outside work for this intro class.

Absolutely the worst teacher I've ever had in college. I'm a senior with one semester remaining. I received a C in this class, my first C ever in college which kept me off the dean's list for the first time ever. He piled all of the work onto the last few weeks of the semester, and the tests included material we had never discussed.

he is very hard, but it is possible to do good, but only if you try as hard as he teaches and tests.if you didn't sign up to learn and learn good then you are in the wrong class. REMEMBER: facial expressions!!!!

Hard?yes! Good? GREAT!! Helpful ABSOLUTELY!! If you don't wanna learn ASL..do NOT take this class!! Great Professor!! Tests ARE hard but why take something like this and NOT intend on learning?? Prof. Palchick is sought after by MANY students seriously seeking an EDUCATION!!

Too many students take this class because they think that it will be an easy A. If you are really serious about learning sign language, then you won't get a better professor than Fred Palchick!

He is a hard professor. There is some assignment, paper, quiz, etc. every other day. Very stressful. I was talking to some other people in class, and they were in tears because of the mid-term (how hard it was)... very hard class.
