Dr. Gary Allen was my first university course professor, and he made it much less intimidating than I thought it would be. I did the course via distance but live locally so Dr. Allen was more than willing to meet in his office and explain anything I was struggling with. The course itself does require a lot of reading but the hard work pays off.

Exams are online so they arent too too bad, but definitely not a walk in the park. Textbook wasnt needed, and quizlet is a HUGE help for this class!! Definitely would not take this as a bird course

Comment:

Great class! His cadaver lab videos are good. Tests are fair and not that difficult but you don't get much time to complete them so watch out for that. Textbook is a must because of the open book exams. No final this semester made this course a breeze. 10/10 would recommend as a lighter workload course.

Even though I did well I was not a fan I like Gary as he is hilarious but he asks HARD questions about things that he DOES NOT EXPLAIN well in class especially given how detailed his questions are. I find a good chunk of questions to be very unfair. BE PREPARED TO USE THE TEXT IT HELPS A LOT

I took this online, and yes it is a pretty easy class. The midterms are harder than you think and he asks very specific (stupid) questions. It is actually quite challenging to get an A+ honestly. Easy but kind of a pointless class..

Dr Gary Allen is easily the best prof I have ever had, and I even took the course by distance! I appreciate the fact that he wants students to be successful and is not afraid to give out good marks. His straightforward approach to teaching is refreshing.

An extremely nice and funny man, makes class so fun and interesting, too bad theres no need to attend. All assignments, quizzes and exams are online and open book. also all everything he says in class is word for word off of the slides. i wish i had to go to his class just because hes so cool.
