Hammett loves his students, and tries to make you create things with meaning and that you're proud of. He pretty much lets you do what you want but will tell you what he thinks will improve the project and tell sweet stories in the process. He's one of the most tolerant people I've met on all issues and chooses his words carefully and respectfully.

Hammett is the kind of guy who stays late to help a student. he tries to make everyones experience a good one. he is sometimes repetitive but the value of the class makes it worth it. nice guy and great teacher. he is passionate about what he does.

Great teacher! His insights do not only remain for class projects but for individual growth and development. It is up to you to take full profit of this class, to me it was 100% worth it. Hammett has a very interesting take on things, he will give you valuable -and frank- inputs and make you put your soul into the work that you develop.

He's a great, knowledgeable guy. The best teacher on the human level; he makes you feel at ease and you could talk to him for hours just about anything. A very rare kind of teacher.
