This was by far the worst English class anyone could possibly imagine. The stories you read have to do with how horrible white Americans are and she makes you write stories based on the opinions of those who have been mistreated. She assigns more work than can possibly be finished. I would not recommend this class to anyone! Despise this woman!

It's impossible to complain about Dr. Weidner or her English 1010 methods. This class is amazingly easy, but she still manages to give you projects that will at least stretch your skills some. No journals, limited reading, easy papers.

Very sweet lady, helps you with everything! Very understanding and helpful highly recommended in any class she teaches. I enjoyed her class even though it was an 8 o'clock, don't be late she adds those up

Don't care for her assignments...you write about some really weird stuff...especially your past writing experiences (which for me was about 15 years ago)and the letter to the editor...but she is a really good teacher who gives opportunities to bring up your unit grades with revisions and extra credit for going to lab...really cool teacher

She's a good teacher, and very easy to understand. I didn't like the topic of the papers we wrote. The first paper was all about past writing experiences. And for your final you write a letter to a newspaper and mail it. Besides always having a writing assignment after class, and the weird writing topics, I loved her class!

Dr. Weidner is WONDERFUL! She really cares about her students and has such a good relationship with them. She makes class interesting and fun too. You have to work hard for her, but she is so sweet and understanding and always willing to help if needed. I would definitely recommend you take some of her classes!

Gotta Love Weidner. There is never a day w/o HW, but it's simple stuff. If you do each assignment on time and in full, and apply the feedback, you are guaranteed an A on your papers. Add attendance and class participation and you have a solid A for the class.

Weidner is the BEST!!! if i could take her for every english class i would! she is very fair when gradeing papers and if you fail you can rewrite it for a better grade. Attendance counts but its always fun to go to her class cause she is such an awesome lady!!!
