She is an awesome professor. Almost no homework. Reading quizzes often but they're mainly true/false. The midterms and final are super easy if you study, mostly questions from the reading quizzes. One individual presentation and one group presentation, will give you 100 if you do it. She's super funny and wants you to learn

She can seem coarse at first, but she really is cool and cares about her students. For this class, the homework was pretty hard, while the tests were on the easier side. If you can make it to her office hours it is really worth it, she'll really try and help you get a better grasp on stuff you're struggling with.

She is so awesome!! Calculus is a very hard subject but she made lectures fun and easy to understand. She is a tough grader and the majority of your grade is based on exams. Over all good teacher though.

Comment:

Kanaana is one of the best math professors at Sonoma State. Super nice and funny. Absolutely recommend her for anyone, for any math course. Classes are very clear, organized and concise. Teaches exactly what you need to know and her exams are fair (definitely study for them). Don't skip more than 5 times.

Very awesome professor. Had her over winter intersession. Really recommend her! Very helpful and clear as she can be with her thick accent. Learned more in 12 days than certain classes during the semester. Work hard on the material, practice off of her class packets.

Great teacher! This is the third class I've had with her. She's funny and in class she gives you time to work on problems in groups so it's not all lecture. Once you get used to her accent, she's easy to understand and helpful.

Do not take Kanaana's intersession Precalculus class. She genuinely cares, but is fast pace. Not real patient with student's who have a hard time with concepts. She can be funny and also serious. Final Exam is super tough, but she does allow students a single index card.

Excellent teacher. Go to class and take notes. Her lectures are easy to follow and she writes everything on the board so notes are easy to take. She is demanding, but fair and always willing to help. Loved this class.

Loved her! This was my first class with her and she is amazing. She has high expectations of you. As long as you put in the effort, then you should do fine. It did take me about a week to get used to her accent, but overall she is great!

Good teacher. If you go to the lectures (and actually pay attention), and do the homework, you'll be fine. She knows the material well, and has a charming accent. She also has a subtle sense of humor that I think a lot of people miss. She is very helpful in explaining things in office hours, though out of class availability may be limited.

Comment:

She very funny and her polish accent makes it funnier. Really tries to make everyone get it and is willing to help any time outside of class. She is a somewhat hard teacher that makes you want to learn the material and she wants everyone to get an A. Test every 3 weeks but gives helpful review sheets. I would take her again.
