Macintosh has the best research papers, his classes are very math intense. If you're in his class don't forget to look at his face he starts licking his lips in circles as he looks at his computer screen with his mouth open. He is a really nice guy, take take take at all cost. He will pass you if you work hard. He is not harder than ming li.

Horrible prof. Went to the London school of economics and doesn't remember what it's like to be in undergrad. Expects everyone to know the material before having taken the class. wastes full lectures on topics unrelated to the test material. Hardest tests also

Horrible. Ended up having to teach myself the entire course. His notes and explanations were not useful. Did well on assignments and terrible on tests. Less than 10 people passed the midterm and half the class dropped it. Tutorials were useless. They did not relate to class material. I do not recommend taking this class with him.

This teacher is open, easily approached and will answer all your questions. However his patience does not redeem his lack of clarity nor his abstract teaching methodology. I would recommend him for economic courses at a higher level. Stay away from him for 300 level courses.

Hardest class I have ever taken at Concordia, and it is only hard due to this teaching methods. If you compare his notes to other profs teaching this course you wouldnt suspect it's the same course. Very hard, changed my life. Thank you HF tutoring for helping me do well in this class. Mcintosh ruinned my relationship. No joke.

All the classes at this level should be like that. The professor skips some parts so you have to try to do them by yourself at home. If you can't, it's in the book. The advantage of that is that you really master the subject after a while. I recommend the class to anyone willing to do a master degree. He also has a lot of interesting stories.

Horrible teacher, avoid at all costs unless you don't plan on going to class and just want to read the book on your own. You will have to pull miracles on your own to do well in his course.

Key to this class: STUDY THE NOTES! the textbook is useless. This class is tough, but still it's manageable.I wouldn't recommend for those who are not comfortable with math. You really have to devote your time on this course than any other courses. He's actually an easy grader when it comes to finals. I ruined midterm, but still got an A+

Take him if you're going to graduate school; avoid him if you've only taken basic calculus. He's a very nice guy, but has difficulty explaining the math and theory to the average student.

While no doubt knows the material, conveying it isn't his strong suit. It should however be noted that intermediate micro as a coruse has very odd methods and ways of defining concepts.

Worst professor I've had at Concordia, I would never recommend him. He hardly teaches, rather scribbles equations on the board. The drop out rate is so high because this guy doesn't teach you anything. Find another proff or be prepared to find a tutor that will reteach you the entire course. Smart guy, terrible teacher.

likes to brag about his research, the same old research from 1992, not much taught in class. grading was extremely inconsistent and subjective. found out after i was done with the course that your grade correlates to how often you visit his office. take him if you have to, but make sure you're always at his office hours.

Take this guy if you plan to go to grad school. Nothing you will learn from him will be a waste of time, and if you've had him before going to Masters, you are doing yourself a HUGE favor. Every example revolves around beer, and you DID start learning calculus in grade 9, damn it! (don't bother arguing on this one)

If your an math expert he's the best guy for you, otherwise avoid him. He is a very easy grader, but you have to work hard to grasp the concepts. He's class is 95% Math/Algebra and 5% concept explications. So yeah, unless you want a Math course economics version avoid him. He is fun though.

Ridiculously hard course with no helpful textbook you can read. Always make mistakes in his class notes-I found more than 10 critical errors in the results of his anlaysis. He was so terrible that even had a student put up a fight with him right in the middle of a class. But he did take curve to ensure you can pass(otherwise most will fail).
