Comment:

Dr. Leach can sometimes be insensitive with the topics covered in psych. He kind of does treat classes like experiments. Gets off task in lectures. Nice guy, funny enough, but I don't enjoy his teaching style. Hard to get a hold of. Taking his class won't be the end of the world, but it also won't be the best class you've taken.

I love Dr. Leach. He is so nerdy and hilarious. His grading criteria is very simple and he'll answer any questions you have.

Comment:

Avoid at all costs. Enjoys experimenting with styles of teaching to see how it reflects in exam scores. Takes intro class way too seriously and is terrible at lecturing. Be prepared for massive amounts of reading if you want an A. Not willing to let you make up work even if you had a funeral to attend. Stay away.

Overall Leach is a good professor and a real nice guy. As long as you come to class, study and read the book(and I do mean READ it...not skim it!) you'll be ok in the class.

He's a fairly easy teacher. As long as you read the books and come to class you will get an A. He's pretty knowledgeable and if you want to know more about something or need help, just ask and he will be more than willing to talk to you about it.

Prof. Leach is so boring. All he does is teach from powerpoints and his tests are almost word-for-word from the powerpoints and textbook. They do try to throw you off though. Incredibly boring--will make you fall asleep even if you got 12 hours of sleep the night before. And don't count on him for help.

His class is one that will make you fall asleep even if you are very well rested. All the class is is stupid powerpoints. Your best bet is to read the book and to use the books website. The tests aren't bad if you study.

His class was complete torture to sit through, and his teaching style was an insult to anyone with intelligence. I learned did not learn anthying that I did not already know, can could not have learned by reading the book myself!

I could be completely rested up for this class and somehow end up falling asleep. What is the point of the powerpoint presentations, i ask? The tests are from information in the book.And why does he hand back every insignificant paper?

This dude has the most boring teaching style. He never ever teaches you about the things to find on the test. He puts a slideshow on blackboard and then you go to class and he just goes over the slideshow. Read the book twice and that's all you can do. He's awful.

He was a pretty decent teacher...you have to be willing to work at it, but he tries to hold your attention and relate the subject to his or anyone's life. However, you've got to read the book and be willing to work! He's easy...tons of extra credit!

He is very dry and everything comes straight from the book, word for word. If you don't understand something and ask for a better explanation don't count on it. If you miss a test don't try to make it up, he doesn't allow it.
