Dr.Szablewicz is a really awesome teacher! He has a lot of stories about going to China if you take Chinese Culture and he's really funny. He definitely keeps the class interesting. His tests aren't hard either, just make sure you study. He does have you read two books and write and essay on one and take a quiz on the other.

Very cool laid back guy, you could tell he was probably a hippy back in the day haha. 3 pretty easy tests and 2 essays on 2 books. Go to class and take notes and you'll pass, the 2 essay books are required as it would be very hard to pass without the essays, which are kinda optional. Overall easy interesting class with a great guy!

One of the best classes taken thus far at WestConn. Professor Szablewicz is a humorous, knowledgable, and caring instructor who is passionate about the material. The class consists of 2, relatively easy papers, and 4 easy tests. You would be a fool not to take him.

I have no interest in NWC but he made class enjoyable to the point where I took two more NWC classes with him. Funny guy, easy going. In order to fail you have to not try at all. Very respectful of everyone's opinions. One of my favorite teachers ever

An excellent teacher, who loves to teach. His classes are easy if you attend class and listen. he tells the class many time "I don't want to fail anyone" I had him for Korean Culture and learned a lot. he gives you a study for the next weeks test. Asian studies are his specialty.

Took him for Korean Culture - and loved it! He's very intelligent, understanding, and kind. All you have to do is attend class and take notes. He gives you study guides for every test that tell you EXACTLY what's going to be on it. All you have to do is STUDY and you will get an A like I did. I reccomend flashcards. The papers are fairly easy also.

Clearly loves his subject, really funny with his stories, very liberal. Get whatever main textbook he assigns so you can study, but the rest are up to you. Attend classes and listen to him and his classes will be easy. In Chinese Culture we had several test and one essay, Don't let any of those sneak up on you and you're fine.

He shows movies and lectures. His lectures are note taking intense, but he knows his stuff and has a great interest in the Asia world. He breaks up the lectures with interesting side stories. Just pay attention to the lectures and his tests are a breeze. I have really learned something in this class, which is more than some I have taken at WCSU.

He is a quiet, smart man. His class consists of all lecture and can get boring, be prepared for 5 pages of notes a class. Tests are very long and involved. Reading the text is not really required but if you take notes you should do well.
