If you want to be a real musician take this class. It will put your sight reading and conducting to the test. If you are content with mediocrity then you can skip it but I learned how to sight read in 2 semesters with her. She will push you. But it's worth it at the end. Don't miss her class or she will call you. Sweet woman and knowledgeable.

Honestly...she made me feel as though I was simply a waste of both life and her time. I sometimes really had no idea what was going on. HOWEVER, at the end of semesters, she always added a few pity points and my grade, so it kept my GPA afloat.

Mrs Wesby just sucks....she makes the most arrogant and crude remarks...shes just horrible...if her husband didnt work here she definitely would not have a job...She may know her subject area very well (one may say)..but she sure as hell can't teach it...i would absolutely never take her class again

don't assume she's evil just because she's married to roger wesby. she has a tendency to be a little unclear in her directions of how she wants things done but overall she's helpful and you will learn a lot from her. her classes are great for majors.

Knows her stuff but failed to look up the word "directions" up in the dictionary. She does not tell you in the clearest of ways how she wants things, but if it is wrong you will hear how you never followed directions...even when there werent any

She is the complete opposite of her husband, Dr. Roger Wesby. She is very considerate of her students, and really loves what she does. I have honestly never had a better teacher in my life.
