If your looking for an easy Spanish course, don't take him. He's not extremely hard, but it does require work. Make sure you know Spain (vosotros) Spanish. Since he's from Spain his "S" sound will be a "th" so don't get thrown off when "baloncesto" sounds like "balonthesto". Don't argue points. He thinks Spain is awesome...wonder why he's here?

EXCELLENT teacher. I have had some Spanish in the past, which definitely helps, but he really made it all come together. He gives homework from time to time but if you do it, you get an A. Tests aren't easy or hard, they cover the material pretty well. You will leave a better Spanish speaker and will definitely LOVE this man!

He expects you to be at every single calss. Even thougth you are not susposed to have had any spanish prior to 101 its going to be a difficult class if you have never had any spanish at all. I had had it for 3 years in high school ans he still made me feel dumb sometimes.

Professor Trinchet's 301 class was very challenging, but it was a 300 level course, of course it was. These courses are much more advanced than 100 and 200 levels. He always let you know what information to study for, sent e-mails for everything discussed in class, and was always very willing to help. One of my favorite Spanish classes so far.

He holds an utterly insane 301 class. for the tests he would use material that we barely went over in class. Grading methods were unfair, and our grade would be hurt based on HIS mistakes. Also,we had a comprehensive final, and he didnt even tell us what was on it! so of course we had to study EVERYTHING! Avoid his 300 classes if you can!

Sr. Trinchet is fabulous! He makes you feel very comfortable speaking the language and won't make you feel stupid if you get something wrong. He does give homework most nights, but it's really not hard. I will take him again!

He is a great teacher, gives lots of homework, but its always short and easy, takes about ten minutes, and is very helpful for test and quizzes. I would highly recommend being in his class if you have to take spanish.

I had him for 102 and 201 and he is an excellent teacher. He makes it easy and interesting to learn which is difficult. It may take a bit to adjust to his accent, but he doesn't give a lot of homework and his tests and quizzes are pretty easy.

Trinchett is such an adorable tiny man. He's so helpful because he knows what it's like to learn a different language. He's a good guy and is willing to help in any way he can. You will have homework about every night and the tests/quizzes are something you'll need to study for.

Mr. Trinchet was an awesome professor. Very helpful during class. He makes sure you are studying by making you participate in group activities, answer simple questions, and read aloud. If he notices you're doing poorly, he helps you! Expect lots of homework. He makes sure you know your stuff.

Trinchet is a really great teacher. Very helpful and nice. He gives study guides and e-mails notes to you. I loved him. I wish I could have him for every SPA class. Tests are reasonably difficult. You can understand his SPanish too. He's not a super fast talker and he doesn't run his words together like some Spanish teachers do.
