Comment:

Lectures were full of energy and expertise. I learned a lot but I hated that grades relied heavily on a few major tests (if you're not a good test taker, this part sucks). This class can be pretty time consuming but it's interesting and this prof knows the subject well.

Comment:

She is incredibly passionate, and she knows so much about developmental psychology. Child Development is a fun course, and fairly easy as long as you do the assignments! I would even take it just to hear her talk about development - she knows the ins and outs, and she has a lot of experience working with and studying children.

Greatest professor! She REALLY cares about her students and utilizes her research for the betterment of her classes. She is a wonderful example of what a professor should be and I wish there were more like her -- caring, personable and knowledgable. Absolutely take any class of hers that you can find and thank her for being such a GEM!

She's the best professor I've had. She really cares for her students and wants them to pass. I'm going to take another class with her next semester. She's just the sweetest person ever. Always uses personal examples makes class interesting. Tests were always 15-20 pages long but you have study!!!

She's very sweet& approachable. Always helping& will spend extra time clarifying if needed. Really wants you to learn, and doesn't try to trick you on examsassignments. Always tries to slip in extra credit to help grades. Lots of work, & assignments, but you really learn in this class. Would take anything with her now.

She is very nice and always lets students know she's available to help. Her tests are REALLY hard and specific. You have to know your stuff to get a good grade in this class. I have no interest in research design but mandatory for psych majors

Useless, confusing and uncompromising. Instead of telling me she would work with me, she was quick to point out my low grades and the trouble I was having in the class. She is distasteful in the sense that she can make you feel low if you experience a significant amount of difficulty in the course. Can't teach effectively. Frustrating! Incompetent.

The best psych professor I have had at purchase. She is tough trust me and you really need to work hard for you grade. This class is not hard, it is only hard if you do nothing. You either hate it or love it and it will really tell you if you want to go in psych or not because you have to understand this to move forward. Brilliant Professor

She is a truly wonderful professor. She puts so much effort into her classes and wants to see everyone do well. She is very fair and thinks carefully about every pedagogical decision she makes. You can't slack off in this class, but she gives you plenty of opportunities to succeed. I wouldn't have wanted to take this class with anyone else!

This woman is very passionate when it comes to teaching. Although she moves fast, she is always willing to help you if you have trouble understanding something. She wants you to succeed and reach your full potential. She can also be funny and she makes the class engaging with her funny stories. Brilliant professor!

She's a brilliant professor who knows her area of expertise extremely well. She's not looking to dish out easy A's but she doesn't seem to thoroughly enjoy failing people. She'll assist if you show the effort and is pretty direct. All in all, she's a good professor.

Can be very moody depending on what side of the bed she woke up on. Not compassionate,or very helpful. When you ask her for help, she expects you to know it. Maybe if she likes you know because you dont need help she'll be a good teacher but if she doesn't like you..it's going to be tough!

Brilliant professor with very well-organized lectures/assignments that help you remember & understand the course material. Uses anecdotes for certain concepts that make class interesting. she's an awesome teacher and advisor. sometimes a hardass and sometimes not too understanding but very approachable. (except if it's btwn classes or a min after an office hour!!!) i learned a lot from her and she's a good person to talk to as well. note taking is important.
